Great phone. The only problem I had was with the phone line provided. The socket at the back of the phone was bigger than the male end of the cable provided. I had to return home, 10 miles, from my old uncle's house to replace the part with a spare that I knew I had. OK, I could have checked before leaving home, but it's not the simple error you would expect to find. No probs, really. For the product developers : I have glued two kiddies' 'diamonds' to the speaker button, so he can feel it quickly. He can just see the glittering effect and drops his finger on to the hollow between the two raised 'diamonds' It works !! An idea there for the manufacturers? Perhaps the address book button could be raised similarly. The adjacent up/down buttons would then be easier to locate, but without amendmentJust send the cheque to the postal address in time for Christmas ! Best wishes.

Just bought this and am still learning about it. My wife has very limited vision and this was meant mainly for her. Some of the stuff like the five one touch numbers is standard but the verbal confirmation of numbers entered is perfect for her. The buttons are large and easy to find and the calls are announced by ringer, light, spoken numbers and name. There is also a five number sequence of emergency numbers on the SOS button and bracelet. That allows the phone to cycle through five pre-sellected contacts until one answers. We are both still learning how to use it but my wife is delighted and telling all her friends what a great item this is.

Difficult to set up,[and my partner is technical]-sound quality poor,there was a strange crackle all the time.the dial out wrist band was easily knocked and dialled accidentally.I certainly would not recommend this to anyone who did not have help in setting it up.

Obviously it had been returned once as a lead was broken and a label had been removed...The instructions were not complete at one stage but eventually it was fixed.Not what one expected , but no one is perfect

The phone is a genius of modern science and is for myself.I am 70 years of age and you never know when yo may need a device of this nature,My daughter insisted I have this phone in case of emergency.Its a little tricky to set up but once you have mastered it its a tool every pensioner have .Its a fine tool and I highly recommend this item.

Yes, it was exactly what we were looking for. We'll worth the money as it saved us £160 a year we paying for an emergency help line.
