24 Traps Direct Spider & Insect Trap

Advantage spider traps caught my attention with a claim of 200% more glue.Previously I had been buying  15 Brown Recluse Spider Traps ,so I figured 24 traps for less than I had been paying was a deal, if they had the glue of 48 traps, that would be a steal.Traps arrived packed well, with instructions printed on the wax paper (other monitors traps don't really have instructions but after assembling a few you get the hang of it) and there was a scan code to set a trap change reminder on my calendar.I measured the glue area, it was 7" x 2.75" (19 sq in) compared to my old traps were 3"x2" (6 sq in) so they were over 300% more glue.Based on the appearance, instructions and large glue area I am giving 4 stars.If they perform well, it could be 5 stars.August 15th Update:Very impressed! It is quite an assortment of roaches, ants and millipedes caught after 2 weeks of using the traps. The traps do quite well. I like to use them flat so that I get the largest use of the glue. Based on results, I am upgrading this product to 5 stars.Better value:I also noticed that the seller has added another product with  60 Spider Traps  that is an even better value!

I have a serious spider problem in my apartment. So I decided to order these traps. I set up about 12 of them in my apartment. I put them everywhere that the instructions recommended and more. After one month with 12 traps I have caught a total of ONE tiny spider!Even with these traps I still have to kill at least one spider a day. I frequently fine spiders near the traps but never in them. I gave the traps two stars because I know they are sticky. I have forced a few spiders to walk on them and they do get stuck. However the bait they supposedly have on them must not be very enticing because they do not walk on the traps voluntarily.

My new apartment is infested by hobo spiders--huge, scary ones with deadly venom dripping from their fangs, just looking for a chance to bite and kill me in my sleep. I've had several chase me through two rooms and out my front door, with the escape to outside being my only chance of surviving the night. Once I installed these, the plague of death and destruction ebbed, and once again I can sleep soundly at night with the knowledge that I will wake in the morning.Seriously, hobo spiders aren't the menace that the internet makes them out to be. They are big and scary, and I'd rather not have them, however. These have trapped the ones that have wandered into my apartment, and since I've installed the traps, I have not seen a spider in my apartment (aside from the ones in the trap).They're easy to use--just tear off a trap from the big sheet, peel the backing off trap surface, fold, and tuck the tab into the slot. Folding into the proper shape is a bit tricky--my first one didn't make a nice looking triangle, but it was still effective. Each one after that was easy to fold.Five stars for this item.

Works for my needs, catches lots of insects!. The only con is if the traps would stay to gather better when folding them into position, if they had a piece of tape for added support that could help with that. but really it’s a really good product I have found at least for my needs. Hope this review helps! * keep in mind it may not work for your situation though.

They don't really seem potent enough to attract any bugs, but they are VERY sticky, so if something were to stumble across it they would likely be caught. Our garage is riddled with things like silverfish and spiders, but I haven't trapped anything but dust. I'm still finding large insects inside, despite relocating these traps and adding more since beginning to use them... I wouldn't recommend purchasing....

Crickets have invaded my home! These traps work great. Previously, I paid $1 apiece for another brand that is larger. These are smaller, cheaper and work just as well. Opening up this big ole stack of traps inspired me to place more traps in more locations, thus better coverage and more bugs caught. Also caught a few silverfish, but sadly also a cute little harmless spider.

I literally watched a spider walk across the adhesive. I have also seen spiders walk around this when I put it in their path. (They touch the glue and then walk around the trap.) I do NOT recommend this product.

I just received these traps yesterday, but have had very similar products for the past few years. I instantly realized that these traps come in sheets of 3 in which you will need to separate and assemble. No problem there. The problem lies in the fact that 2 of the 3 traps are not fully covered with the sticky component which is the whole basis of the trap. I just don't understand why only 1 of the 3 has the full layer of stickiness on the bottom. Also, the traps are small, 3 1/2" X 2 1/2", when folded into a rectangle and there is no adhesive on the top. I'll just see and report back with their effectiveness.
