Smaller than a car key fob, great range, well designed
Easily fits in a pocket. Nice when doing yard work and more secure than leaving it in the car. Works from the street vs the much bigger original opener that only worked when I was on the driveway. Easy to use slide cover aids security by eliminating accidental opening. Looks better and less obvious than the silver colored fobs.

Great replacement for garage door remote.
Took a little bit but was able to get them programed. Love them. Highly recommend them.

Great so far
These have been great thus far. Programming was straightforward: removed garage door opener light cover (Genie 8600 IC), pressed the program button on the opener, opener LED flashes, pressed button on the remote (A, B, C or D), opener LED stops flashing but stays lit, press button on remote again, opener LED goes out. Repeated the process for the other remote. We have two garage doors and I was able to program the A and B buttons on both remotes. Range is very good, at least 100 feet (did not attempt more than that, plenty for my needs, much better than the prior Genie ACSCTG Type 3).I did encounter an issue initially in which programming the 2nd remote removed the 1st remote. My understanding is that the openers can support only a limited number of remotes at one time (7?). I cleared the memory on the opener by holding down the program button for 10 seconds. Then, I was able to program both new remotes, and an old one we have without issue.Lastly, I can confirm that these remotes take 27A batteries. There are similar appearing remotes listed on Amazon that take button batteries. I don't know if this matters, but figured I'd mention it in case someone wants to purchase spare batteries.

Beware
When a battery dies it is impossible to remove the 3 microscopic screws that hold the back panel. A very small philips head screwdriver is required but the screws are inordinately tight; then, the screw heads strip thus making it impossible to replace the battery

Works Geat!
Have an older model opener and this linked up to it really & distance is great. Love the little door that prevents accidental opening which was a problem with my old little remote. It would open the door accidentally and I didn't even know it. Working great so far.

Did not work as described
I tried to contact the vendor at the email. id. they provided in the instructions. I even provided my garage manual pdf to confirm compatibility. They never received provided a response. I returned the item.
