I got this for my cat who loves to be outside. I’m concerned about her safety, so that just can’t happen. I got her this, covered the top with a UV resistant tarp and she loves it.. I can put her outside with complete peace of mind. I open the door, walk in, pick her up, take her back in the house. It isn’t heavyweight sturdy. It works for my cat. I can not imagine a rambunctious dog being in this. I am considering attaching another one to this one and making a habitat for her.

I purchased a Used-like new item and it was exactly as described. No issues as far as quality control. The price is very reasonable compared to the same item at larger chain stores. And of course , the versatility of this is unmatched. I have this set up every night for my nine week old puppy to sleep in with an elevated bed inside. I generally crate train my dogs right from the beginning for bed time but am switching tactics to train to sleep in "their bed" instead of starting in an enclosed crate and working to an open door crate. My puppy is calmer when enclosed in this playpen then he was in his 48 inch crate. My other dog has an open crate with her comfy bed she sleeps in. I have also used this attached to a 36inch double door crate to put both my 2 yr old red nose pit and 9 wk old rottie in while I was running errands. Lastly this has also been used as a travel playpen at a family reunion (will update pics of that later). This has most definitely proved it's worth in each instance. I do not think this could be collapsed WITH extra reinforcements in each of these scenarios. When used with the elevated bed I have zip ties added on the sides where the feet for the elevated bed are. So the playpen is secured to the bed at the very bottom. This keeps the playpen from being able to be moved/caved in/etc while set up like this. When attached to the 36inch crate I have zip ties on 4 points where the crate and playpen connect to eachother. I also have the metal clips on there too but it seemed sturdier with the zip ties. The plastic clips that come with it for the top in my opinion are useless on their own. Hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. They constantly pop off at the slightest movement and become a hazard to the dog inside. Especially a teething puppy. To remedy this I also have these zip tied to the top. When used outside as a travel playpen I make sure it is strategically staked to the ground and the included metal clips to attach this to a crate becomes a back up door closure as well. Judging from some of the reviews I believe a bunch of people expected this to be like the heavy plastic kid play yards and were not expecting to take a few extra steps to think about how to reinforce it... take the extra time and make sure it is secure to make sure your dog is safe. Is it a portable tall thin enclosure. Of course on its own it is a bit flimsy. When used responsibly it is a great product and very simple to use. I am glad I bought this for sure. I am planning on buying another one so I can take both of my dogs on our last vacation of the summer and let them have some room to play without being on leads. It is not too heavy considering it's metal...and looks decent. Yes it's a bit bulky when set up. But it's fine..lol...for reference I bought the 59x48. Or 48x48x48. I don't believe in starting small and buying bigger as the dog gets bigger. They start out with ginormous stuff and grow into it so they know from the beginning it's theirs.

This worked so well for my pullets when I was introducing them to the chicken run. Nice and high. It was nice to have it foldable when I didn’t need it fully extended. This will be a staple in my chicken run.

This play pen is perfect for our growing Mia! Easy to set up and configure to your liking. Overall really sturdy and worth it. We attached it to her to crate with the clips provided to give her a bigger area when needed.

This is an amazing metal fence, easy to carry, very practical and has many uses. I bought 4 pieces. They easily can attach to each otherI use one for my porch to prevent my cat from going to the garden. And sone pieces for chicken. Yes if they really want they can jump out. However I keep moving it in different areas so they are not interested to fly outside.

I needed a pen to contain my dog that did not have any lip he had to step over to get in and out of since he has slipped a disc in his neck and balance is a huge issue right now. I was excited to see this pen had only 1 wire that went across the bottom as seen in the product images and the review images, however, that was not the item I recieved. My pen has a 1.5-2 inch lip that my dog would have to step over to get in and out of.I tried to contact customer support and now that it is all done with AI and I can't talk to someone it just keeps asking me how I want to return the item. I can't return the item, as disappointed as I am, it already took 5 days to get here, my dog needs a pen for safety but I want people to be aware that they are not receiving the item photographed.I know to many, this is not an issue, but for the people like me that it is an issue, it's a big issue because my dogs safety is #1.

We bought this to put around a tree in the front yard to keep the deer from eating it. It works and looks great.

Bought two of these to use as a pen for our recent camping trip. Once attached it was a decent size and my dogs were pretty happy not to be getting tangled with leashes the whole time. It was easy to set up and the gates work well. Not super sturdy if you have a heavier dog or one who likes to jump against things. Worked well for us though!

My dog had an operation on his 2 back legs and had to stay calm for 6 weeks, so this set-up was perfect and easy to use. I had it set-up in my living room so he always felt that he was with us. I called it "the dog condo". It connects to his crate easily which gave him security.
