ROPVACNIC Robot Vacuum Cleaner with 3000Pa
Wanted a robot vac for a while. Saw a great price on this ROPVACNIC robot vacuum cleaner with 3000PA, read the reviews and ordered one. It has been able to eliminate the need for daily vacuuming by me due to dog and cat hair. Only time will tell how it holds up, but so far, I'm really happy with it.Excellent suction on our all-hardwood main level floor, which include many area rugs, many obstacles, a large black dog and cats shedding randomly everywhere. Bottom line it's doing the work instead of me, which I really like. It has enough Battery to get its job done and done well and it recharges quickly enough that you can send it off elsewhere later in the day (or night)This is a random pattern vac-bot - that is, it runs along until it bumps into something and then redirects depending on which sensor gets tapped. It has no real trouble with the heavy oriental area rugs we have around the place and even the fringes (about 2" long) along their edges don't seem to be an issue. Power cords can be a problem, so we try to keep those out of the way as much as possible. I suspect these are issues with all robot vacs. The robot has built in "cliff sensors" so it also won't run off the edge of a stairway. It just senses the edge, stops and turns away. The dust bin on this one is fairly large. After each run, we empty the dust bin, clean any dog/cat (or human) hair out of the rollers and brush out the air filters. Takes maybe five minutes. You do need to replace the brushes and filters at some interval that is going to be dependent on your surfaces and "dirt profile", but it's likely to be measured in months if you just do the basic post cycle routine, they recommend.Basically, this is a good little lightweight machine for a relatively lightweight price. If you want a robot vac, but the prices of the units with more bells and whistles are scaring you off, this is a good choice to test the waters. If you find you like it but wish it had a few more capabilities for some areas, buy a fancier one for another level or that area in your home. If you find you don't, you're not out a small fortune having paid for features that while nice, are not going to change your life either no matter how cool.

Great for the price so far
I have had our vacuum for 2 weeks now. I have two dogs and one is especially an insane shedder. I have a large house (2500 sq ft); all wood floors. It does an amazing job picking up dog fur. The battery life could be a bit better but it lasts for roughly about 70 minutes which is great. It’s a lot faster to charge than anticipated. After an hour, it can def go some more. But I have it scheduled for 10 am, 4 pm, and 8 pm. So plenty of charge time in between. The canister is decent- about half the size of a good handheld vacuum. I empty once per day. If I didn’t vacuum at least every day, it would probably get full before finishing its cycle. It does bump into things but it’s done it less as time has gone on. The vacuuming seems very random, though, and will miss spots in the middle of the floor sometimes. Maybe it will get better- we’ll see. That’s one of my biggest gripes… but it’s cheap in comparison to other robot vacuums. So I dunno. It goes up on rugs etc easily. It works quickly.Another big issue I have is that the app is extremely simple. Also, the “manual” mode in the app to use as a remote doesn’t always work. It’s irksome. But, overall, it’s a great robot vacuum on a budget.UPDATE: I’ve the vacuum for over a month. It definitely bumps into things less. It still has a decent battery. It still vacuums in a pattern that makes no sense. It still does a great job picking up pet hair, dirt, and even little twigs the dogs drag in.But goodness, it hardly ever can find its way to the charging dock. I work from home so it’s not an issue. But if you work away from home and have yours on a schedule, it may run out of battery before it finds the dock. I’m not sure what the issue is. I have top tier Wi-Fi. It’s annoying but we manage. And I still think the price is worth dealing with that headache. But if you needing vacuuming whole out of the house, this probably isn’t for you.

Worth the price
I have had this RobVacnic for a little over two weeks. So far it is a very happy purchase although I see that they are now selling on Amazon for $109.00 ($30.00 less than I paid). Setup is easy. Instructions are clear. It patched easily to my phone. It sure does clean up lots of stuff off the floor. Its working path is very random in the auto cleaning mode. But given enough time, it covers the entire target area. I’ve found it is most effective if I put it in a well defined area (bedroom and bathroom, for instance), and then close off the area keeping the RopVacnic from wandering elsewhere. It will clean such a furnished area (18 X 30 feet - 540 sq. ft.) very well in about an hour. By then it has used up perhaps 70% of its stored power. I then take it back to the room where the charging station is, set it down within 10 feet or so, and it will find its way back to get charged. The phone app works better for me than the remote that came with the vacuum. (Instructions warned that it would work only 2.4 Ghz, but there was no problem patching it to my 5 Ghz system.) The vacuum does not get tangled up with lamp wires and crosses over rug fringes without issues. It is surprising how much dirt it picks up: about the same amount for the same area using my upright vacuum. I wouldn’t think it would be worth paying twice as much for a higher end robot vacuum, given the thoroughly satisfactory results I experience. So, for me it is an uncomplicated saver, and cheaper than a vacuum or a maid.
