Lenox894441 2023 Our New Home Front Door Ornament

I've been collecting these Lenox snowflakes since 2000, I missed a few years of purchasing but I eventually purchased the years I was missing from E-bay. Every year, I look forward to receiving the new yearly release by Lenox and thus my winter wonderland of snowflakes continues to grow. Not a single annual snowflake is similar, and I truly admire the craftsmanship of each piece. I hope that Lenox continues to release their Snow Fantasies Snowflake for many years to come. We have two trees that we decorate. Downstairs tree has all the funny ornaments, family keepsake ornaments, and random character ornaments. The upstairs tree, however, is our classy tree. We decorate it with White house historic association ornaments, Mount Vernon, other historic sites, glass icicles, and traditional glass ornaments.I picked this up because of its clean, classic lines, simple finish, and has the year on the tiny tag.

A simply beautiful snowflake ornament. My experience with any Lenox product has been stellar and this ornament is no different.The snowflake is substantial in size (4"x4"x 1/8") and is sure to stand out on any Christmas tree. It's a rich cream color with a gold tassel that can hang directly on a branch. While it looks delicate, it has some girth to it so I wouldn't be fearful in actually hanging it - just maybe not toward the bottom with a new pup in the house!Many people collect Lenox ornaments each year and I can see why; great gift regardless.

Most homes know the name Lenox, it's a respectable household name that makes great wares. I got this as a great keepsake gift. The ornament is a smidge fragile, but I think that's more about traditional design, rather than it being some heavy, break-a-tree limb design. The details are well displayed and is overall a quality product. If you can catch it on a great sale, and know someone that just had a baby, I say grab it and get your gift ready for the holiday season before they run out of these!
