After a couple of delays and 1 order reconfirmation, I finally received my order of 3 Classified Eels for my display collection. They're so cool looking that I had to get three of them so I can assemble them together as a squad. They stand out as a formidable force against my Classified Torpedo. Kind of like Cobra's very own Navy Seals and it's shown by their gear accessories which includes a spear gun, pair of flippers, scuba backpack that has a nice looking decal logo with twin jet propulsions attached, a hunting knife and a divers helmet that snugs tight on the head. The articulation joints are firm and not as loose or breakable compared to their previous wave but the plastic quality still has that gummy feel though.Compared to the other army builders, these Cobra Eels don't come with a lot of weapons, I wish they came with an extra gun similar to how Torpedo has an assault rifle but I can remedy that by giving them submachine guns from Valaverse.Finally, I really dig the updated design of the figure as it's still faithful to the original 80s toy while having new features such as sonar touchscreen that's molded into to the right arm.Overall, the Classified Cobra Eel is a great addition to the Classified lineup which makes it being an Amazon exclusive a major sour to collectors and anyone who wants buy these as a gift because they currently sold out for the time being. They're also sold out on Hasbro Pulse. Not everyone got the chance to preorder them and I don't know why it was a good decision for Hasbro to choose an army builder that people will buy multiples of them.

This is a great COLLECTIBLE figure for any g.i.joe fan.

Took awhile to get but amazing figure

The Amazon-exclusive Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified Cobra EEL figure gets by on personality from a decent new masked head, a great new helmet, and a nice paint job; but nearly everything else recycles from recently-released Torpedo with just a few new parts, some of which don't work that well. This figure's more than the sum of its parts in personality, but feels rushed, doesn't have quite the polish of most Classified figures.The new accessories are the helmet, the leg sheath, and glued-on thruster part of the backpack; the spear gun, knife, and backpack are identical to Torpedo's. The original '80s figure this is based on had a much cooler harpoon gun; Torpedo got a whole separate machine gun, the EEL gets this wimpy spear gun. The helmet looks great and is easily the best part of the set, it's modernized from the classic look but in a way that feels organic; it is a tight fit, though.The new body parts are the head, collar overlay, shoulders, forearms, and crotch piece; everything else is clever repainting. The collar overlay highlights the gap above the butterfly joint when it could have been a little wider to cover that. The new head is another masked trooper look, unfortunately trapped on a barbell joint that can't look up high enough for good swimming poses. The crotch piece is very rubbery to let the legs really move.The new shoulder part hangs down over the bicep part which clashes when you rotate the joint. The head slips down inside the helmet when posing upwards thanks to the simple neck joint requiring fussy realigning. The new right forearm sports a sculpted-on screen but it's on the outside of the arm so he can't easily look at it.

Well made action figure. Really captures the original 80's figure yet modernizes. He's very articulate and his paint apps are spot on. Great facial sculpt. Weapon is a bit flimsy with not the hardest plastic. Love his fins, mask and air tank. A great figure to pose very detailed. Buy a few and build a Cobra Scuba army!

I’m a child of the 80’s, so I have not been worried about collecting the 6 inch figures. This is my first one as it was my favorite from childhood. The plastic is softer and more pliable than the 3 3/4 inch figures. I don’t know how it will hold up to kids playing with it. It looks amazing!

Loved the figure as a kid, even better now. The only thing I disliked about it was how hard it was to obtain!
