The worst Umbrella
I recently purchased a Daniel Hechter Paris umbrella, and I am compelled to share my experience with potential buyers.Quality and Performance Issues:> The umbrella appears to be manufactured by the same company that produces Giordano and Kenneth Cole umbrellas, likely a common Chinese manufacturer.> It functioned well for the initial 10 days, coinciding perfectly with the end of the return period.> The first issue I encountered was its refusal to open. Imagine being ready to step out into the rain, only to find your umbrella won't open! The only solution I found was to firmly press the umbrella in first and then press the button.> Today, it refused to shut entirely. The button simply would not work, rendering the umbrella useless.Material Concerns:> The cloth material of the umbrella felt plastic-like and lacked the quality and sturdiness of materials typically used in Indian-manufactured umbrellas.Price and Value:> I bought this umbrella for about 450 rupees, a price lower than the usual 999 and 1499 rupees.> However, considering the poor quality and performance, even this price feels too high.> For those considering this brand, be cautious not to overpay and end up with a subpar product. It will only lead to greater disappointment.I have discarded the Daniel Hechter Paris umbrella and will be purchasing a more reliable one from an Indian manufacturer. An international name does not necessarily guarantee quality, and my experience with this umbrella is a proof of that.
