I appreciate the nice sturdy case that these tools come with. They’re the basics for installing extensions and so far have been working fine for me to practice crimping extensions on. I like that the crimper has a spring like thing that helps it open so your hand doesn’t get as tired from using it. The other pieces of the set are nice to have “added extras” like the clips.

I ordered this tool kit for my teen-aged granddaughter. She has been experimenting with all sorts of extensions and tinsel and whatnot over the summer and my daughter puts them in for her. She has gotten pretty good at it. She has had her own extensions done at the salon for years, but she is ready to try installing them herself and perhaps save some money. The pliers she had been using broke, so she had been using a small one out of my jewelry making tool kit. Not ideal. So, when I saw this one, I was happy to order it. It is not a professional grade tool, but it is working well so far and seems light-weight but durable enough. The kit also includes a hook and loop for beads or links as well as 2 alligator clips and a storage bag.
