Zebra SB21-B-DBK Multifunction Pen Sharbo X TS10 Dark Black

Bought this as I was looking for a nice Multi-Pen for work . It’s a beautiful pen , the twist mechanism to change between colors is easy to use. It has a nice weight to it , very comfortable. The inks for it are not included, I bought the ESB emulsion inks from Zebra for it and they are a perfect fit , write very smoothly.

The Zebra Sharbo X TS10 is a good-looking pen in a modern style. It feels good in my hand and extended writing with it is comfortable. The cartridge selection mechanism is smooth and reliable with no rattle or slippage.One of the four selections must be a mechanical pencil, but you can choose pencil modules in three different sizes (0.7mm, 05.mm, 0.3mm) and swap them out as you like. The lead advance mechanism is just as precise as the selector.The only downside is that the selection mechanism does not have a retracted position. To retract the tips you have to turn the selector to a point between the stops and there is no detent to make that easier or to hold the position. I consider this a nuisance rather than a major design failure, but it is an unfortunate oversight in any otherwise great design.

This pen has a nice weight to it, and writes well. D1 refills fit but depending on the brand may be a little loose. A single layer of scotch tape on one side of the refill end fixes that. It's really nice to have a good choice of colors in a slimmer, more premium frame than a Uni Jetstream (which uses proprietary refills that are harder to acquire). All in all it feels, looks, and writes great!I have two issues, one minor and one major. Minor is the eraser is tiny; not the end of the world but extending the cap a few mm would allow space for like 30% more eraser mass. My major issue are the markings on the selection ring; there are four uniform single lines, each denoting a pen barrel, and the sharbo marking indicating the mechanical pencil barrel. You have to memorize pen color relative to its distance and direction from the sharbo marking. That's just straight up bad design! Those uniform single lines could instead be different to allow color association with each marking. That would make color selection so much faster.The eraser thing is pretty minor, but the pen indicators are bad enough to merit knocking off a star from what is otherwise an awesome general purpose, high quality pen.

I do lots of writing filling out various forms and marking up archetectual drawings. Been using these pens for 2 years now. Cannot use anything else. Lost one a month ago and replaced it with two. (one for a backup) If you try one you will find you cannot live without it. Robert

The first of these pens I bought in JP and had it for 4 years. I recently lost it and just had to get another. The weight the balance and the feel of this pen is like no other. That is the reason I had to get another one.Very happy and satisfied with this purchase and delivery. Well done you! Thank you.....I will be purchasing one more for backup.

The pen itself inside is nice but disappointed that the box it came with was already opened. See photos. FYI, it does not come with any ink.

This pen is obviously expensive but if you look at the craftsmanship you will understand why.

Amazing pen. It works smoothly and feels great. Perfectly balanced.
