We had a shock collar for our dog’s annoying barking. Problem was, if the collar wasn’t on and he started barking, there was no way to get him to stop without yelling at him. So we thought we’d try this device. It worked incredible! After just a few times of using it, there is a noticeable reduction in unnecessary barking. If he seems like he’s gonna start, we just need to pick it up and he will stop. I’ve also started to use it to teach him not to jump up on guests when they come in the house. That also is working very well. All it takes is one quick push of the button and he stops whatever annoying behavior he is doing. Highly effective!

Love this device! I bought it out of desperation for my overly excited Australian Shepherd. We have tried everything from obedience classes to pinch collars ( and everything in between) to curb unwanted habits (Excessive barking; jumping; and nipping). This devise worked IMMEDIATELY! I’m so happy with it that I have referred it to my friends. It has a long battery life (15 hrs) and the night lighting is an added bonus.The only thing that you must pay attention to are the buttons. They are sensitive and it’s easy to accidentally push them when holding the device. If there ever comes a time where a newer model is made, I would suggest having a “locked” position for the MAX button for guys like my husband that have big hands. It’s an awesome product that doesn’t instill fear or pain to get your pups att3ntion, yet it’s very effective!

our next door neighbors, have 2 small non stop yappy barking dogs. it was to the point we had to go knock on their door in the middle of the night because they literally bark underneath our bedroom window. we sneeze, cough, or laugh they would bark. i take my dog outside to her kennel, they bark aggressively. as soon as i got this, i could not wait to use it!!! it has their barking down to very minimum and tolerable with us. they no longer bark when we step out our back door. just a little yap and it stops right away. if it gets crazy i zap them 😆 and they immediately stop. best investment ever!

The only complaint is it works for 2 of our 3 dogs. Works the best on our pit.

Purchased one and it worked like a charm. Yorkie immediately stopped the moment the button was pressed. Suggested a friend purchase one which she did. Worked like a charm for her as well. Then I charged mine and... nothing. It has batteries but pressing the button does NADA. Then my friend charged hers. SAME thing. NADA. lame.

This is an easy to use tool to help in training your fur baby. Great construction and a light built in. Rechargeable means no extra cost for replacing batteries.Went from constant yapping at flies to watching them buzz by.

I own a Australian Shepherd who has some unwanted habits. He barks, rushes the door, and jumps. This device and training have helped to curb the door and jumping problems. His barking is to a minimum. I am very pleased with this device. I am careful not to over use the device.

I will admit it, I was very skeptical reading all the great reviews because how can a product help so many people? I can say that my yappy golden doodle boy has learned when to quiet it down in the morning with just using the training button. It took 4 days for him to really get it and not bark so loud while the house moves around around. He was annoyed with it at first but this device really worked! Hope it works for others too!

This has solved all our barking problems almost immediately !!!The device is well priced, works consistently and no more incessant barking.I bought this item because it was portable and lower price than the wall mounted. I will be buying the wall mounted units now as well.This was 100% worth the money…and more my peace.Our pup still communicates her needs but with a much quieter little grumble and run to what she needs/wants.I should have bought this sooner. If it doesn’t work for your dog I would be surprised.

This gadget is a great find and an equally great buy. I use it to silence my apartment neighbors dogs--she has three that bark constantly when she's out or when anyone walks down the corridor. When they bark, I open my door and use the high-level button and they shut up. The gadget works so well that one of my other neighbors keeps borrowing it. I trying to get her to buy her own! CGP

You have to be consistent, take time to train and it works.Wish it was waterproof/water resistant.

Don't even need to use it many time or hold for a long. The dog just gets it with a single short push.

We bought this device on the recommendation of a friend who has two little poodles, because our 10 month old Beagle barked and howled incessantly at anything that moved on our road; kids, golf carts, walkers, especially those with dogs. We had been trying behaviour techniques for weeks but nothing was helping. After using this device three or four times Molly now barks maybe once and that’s it. We can live with that. This has been a game changer and we’ve never once had to use the MAX button. It’s very nice to get a product that truly lives up to the manufacturer’s description and other reviewers. Worth every penny even if you only have to use it a few times.
