NuGo Nutrition Slim Protein Bars Vegan and Gluten Free Espresso 45g - 12 Bars

These bars were the best vegetarian bars that I could find that had low calorie/low sugar but high protein.I was looking at calories:protein (g) a ratio of 10:1 which is very good considering most bars seemed to have 15:1.The taste is just enough to make it so that you won't pick them up for a nibble if they are lying around, but its not a problem to eat one after some exertion. Perfect for a greedy b'stard like myself.

The peanut ones taste really good for protein bars, especially for ones with relatively few calories, and no weird sweeteners or whey in. Very handy. The espresso flavour weren't very nice, but then they were half the price of the others... will definitely be buying the peanut ones again and trying the choc mint/coconut.

Really impressed with these bars. They have a nice chocolate espresso taste, perfect balance of bitter and sweet. They have a great texture too and are chewy but with a bit of crunch. Reallygood macronutrient profile, a high protein content for a low calorie amount. Occasionally if the weather is hot, the chocolate on the outside of the bar starts to melt a bit so might be worth keeping them in the fridge if you live somewhere hot.

I bought these because they were low sugar, high protein and fibre. Not what I was expecting. I thought they would be like a bounty bar which they definitely are not. They are rock hard, could hardly bite them, nearly broke my teeth. They are not delicious as stated on wrapper. They are a chore to eat, will not be buying again. Will stick with my orange choc chip Pulsin protein bars.

I love these!!! I’ve tried the Chocolate Mint and Toasted Coconut now and coconut is definitely my fave! Really good ingredients and love that these are low sugar, high protein and the macros are great. To me the toasted coconut tastes like a normal chocolate bar and it makes me feel like I’m eating something super unhealthy when I’m not haha it’s great! Definitely recommend, I do find them to be a tad hard in texture (especially the choc mint) but the coconut ones are very yum. Just wish they weren’t so expensive 😩

Ithought these bars were disgusting the taste was like eating a bar of sand with a wax covering no coffee flavor at all, many of my work colleagues tried them too and felt the same !!

I absolutely love these bars, they are the lowest gram of carbs I could find per bar which is what I want! They taste amazing too. About to order my third box!

This protein bar really helped me on my diet as its low on sugar but still very tasty.
