Never adapted anything into a lazy susan, but I found a really neat wooden platter shaped like the state of Maine and thought it would make an ideal lazy Susan for my salt and pepper shakers, napkin holder, toothpicks, etc. I ordered the 6" and used a drill and some simple wood screws dipped in wood glue to secure it. 1st time, I tightened screws too much and it wouldn't turn, just had to back off the tension a little and it worked beautifully afterwards. I sealed my platter with a clear satin spray acrylic before adding the adapter.

I got these for lazy susans that are heavy.These are sturdy and work perfectly.

Was sturdy enough for my application of a puzzle turntable using 1/2” plywood. Easy to turn. Does not come with mounting screws so I used three #6 1/2” sheet metal screws for attachment.One of the rubber feet was missing so I used 1/2” dia bumper pads.

I bought my puzzle board which I love but now they make them with the lazy susan so I purchased this one and it works great

The swivel base on my CD rack broke. It didn't have ball bearings. This made a great replacement not just being close to the same diameter but with the ball bearings, the CD rack swivels easily.

So no hardware was provided. No crews to attach to whatever base you intend to use it for. I extra trip to the hardware store for something so simple. And it does not glide smoothly at all. Not impressed. But it’s fine for what I’m using it for.
