This board book is beautiful. All of the pictures are black and white and therefore seem to draw your eyes in. The text is on the opposite page of the picture and in black font on varied bright pages. The quality of the book construction is very nice: glossy thick pages and sturdy binding. I love that it is in English and Arabic as well. Our 16 month old hears his Baba reading Arabic and his Mommy reading English and hopefully is learning both at the same time from a very young age.

Add this to your bilingual library!
This is a beautiful Arabic/English baby board book! Each page features an animal along with one sentence about that animal and the sound that animal makes; for example, "The bird sings. Tweet Tweet". The Arabic translation is above the English. It's interesting to read how the animal sounds differ between Arabic and English. This would make a great gift or addition to a school or home library. Highly recommended!

Cute book. Not perfect.
It's a cute little book. I like the simplicity and boldness of the illustrations. I wish the Arabic text had diacritical marks (vowel markings) so I could be 100% sure of how to read the unfamiliar words. For now, I pretty much don't even read the Arabic to my daughter because I want to check the vowels first. It seems like it wasn't written by a native speaker, but maybe some type of translation software was used to write the Arabic. (Not as bad as Google translate, but still it doesn't quite seem natural). This is a minor point, but... I wish the cat said "meow" instead of "purr". Just a personal preference I suppose.Overall, it's a cute little book. Just not super impressed.

Hip Hop, Cute Book!
My 14 month old son loves this book. I got it for him so he can learn both, Arabic and English words and to get him used to listen to Arabic. It is a cute little book but I wish it had more pages.I like that the animal pictures are in white and black. I noticed that my son is interested in white and black more than colorful photos.

Boring
Got this for my toddler and she memorized the full book when I just read it to her once. It's not colorful or interesting and it lost her interest. I was there was more books aimed at 2 year old toddlers that were written in Arabic.
