Absolute Beastt... There's nothing better in this range
As the title mentions this is the best there is. You get everything you can ever think of get done on this machine. It's a really powerful beast but in a sleek looking design. Everything is customisable, you can make it yours in every way. Get the hp service that's available everywhere. Got it for 89k in sale best value for money. Doesn't heat much and is very productive as well as functional.

Avoid this product
I brought this laptop during sale. The screen was dead on arrival. I have to shine a flashlight onto the display to see what's happening. Connecting to external monitor works just fine. Amazon didn't send a technician even after raising complaint twice. I arranged for a HP official technician who tried everything but couldn't get it to work. The seller is not restocking this product in the warehouse due to which I'm not even able to get a replacement unit from Amazon, only refund is possible which I'm going for ultimately. My advice would be ultimately to avoid HP products. You can go with Lenovo,Asus or Acer. Just imagine the pain of going through HP support, which is so pathetic it will make you go round and round in circles everyday sending mails and talking to them over phone. However product wise I had a decent experience. The CPU benchmark scores were very low compared to the avg. The read write speed on the SSD was absolutely terrible Gen3 speed whereas they advertise this as a gen4 SSD. GPU was great though. Played for long hours on external display and got very good performance in most games at 1080 resolution. Thermals were also in control. You can even game on battery and get decent performance, although I would advise against it. Laptop is on the heavier side. Built quality is good except the upper half of the laptop.Seriously,if you're spending 1 lakh + on gaming laptop go with other brands. If getting for less than a lakh, then you can go for this and hope it doesn't break right after one year.

Great purchase i have ever made
This laptop is a champ, im talking abt 2023 model, hp omen 16 4060 and ryzen 7840HS, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd, overall it is very good for the price and does everything i ask for easily, gaming performance is awesome, but ram is not sufficient for so i have upgraded to 32gigs ddr5,Everything abt this laptop is top notch and no complaints from me, ex: cover for web cam, build quality, speaker, cooling system, every decision hp made is very good and it shows, and the battery life is very good too coz of the amd zen 4 chip efficiency

everything you need to know
i got this 10 days ago for 90k in the prime day sale, and here are my thoughts:1) excellent value for money, 7840hs (which is almost identical to 8845hs except the NPU) + rtx 4060 (120W TGP) is a wonderful combo.nvidia control panel lists tgp at 120W and the gpu actually hits 113W in my own testing. 3d mark time spy results are pretty good too - median performance for given specs.2) very good thermals, with performance setting + discrete gpu (more on this later) and auto fans, the cpu and gpu stays well below 80-85 degrees in 35 degree ambient - which is stellar.3) the build is mostly plastic, except for the aluminum lid, but it feels solid.the ergonomics are well thought out, and the subtle blacked-out design makes it a good work machine.4) the display is "only" fhd 16:9, I would have much preferred wqhd 16:10 display, and maybe a bit higher brightness - but the one installed is quite good and fairly color accurate.fhd + rtx4060 is an ideal pairing i've learnt. i didn't have major backlight bleed either (minor bleed is typical in ips displays).would definitely recommend at 1lacs or lower.(some pro insights)5) 2023 omens (xf/wf series) were known for hall sensor issue where the laptop screen would suddenly stop working - digging into those threads, it is evident that the issue occurs due to a poor hall sensor placement location in laptops which have a few ports at the back. this laptop (xd0020ax and likely most xd/wd series) has all ports on the sides - the back is entirely vents and thus it is NOT prone to the said issue. Now, the port layout is exactly same as 2023 victus models, so I am convinced the motherboard inside is a tweaked victus motherboard once hp realized the mess with the original 2023 omen. Ideally that should have been a cause for concern as companies cheap out on components on lower priced series (like victus in this case), but looking at the performance and the change from mediatek mt7921 wifi card (which has pathetic download speeds in 2023 victus series) to chart topper mediatek mt7922, I am happy, especially at the price I got it.6) the ssds used are kioxia gen4 ssds, which simply do not have top of the class performance. nevertheless, the same won't be felt in day to day usage and they are pretty reliable too from what i could gather. however, just 1 m.2 slot is an absolute bummer! (again due to the victus motherboard). the laptop definitely deserved better on the storage front - I would have probably rated the laptop full 5 stars if so.7) the device DOES NOT have advanced optimus - although you get a manual mux switch which requires a restart. further, I would have also loved the advanced bios settings from xf/wf series.(one final point, since some people are complaining about a "different" keyboard layout, the video and the 360 are of the xf series omen - which is now replaced with this xd one, and thus the discrepancy. this same listing was selling the xf series earlier, which may explain some old reviews comprising of hall sensor/dead screen issue.)in conclusion, having known all good, bad and ugly, i am quite happy with the purchase - at the quoted price.

Value for money gaming machine
Very well built laptop with very power efficent cpu.Handles all games easily at highest settings with above 60 fps.Battery easily lasta 5-6 hours on light use in balanced mode.Sound quality is best among laptops of this price range.Screen is good for indoor use with enough brightness. Would have been great if they provided a QHD panel at this price point. Coming from a mac(for office) I can clearly see the difference in text and images which are a lot blurry. The laptop came with hp care pack, which gives 2 year additional warranty. Thanks amazon and hp for the additional warranty though it is nowhere mentioned on product description.

Its a Beast!!!
I got this laptop on 23 Aug 2024 and it's been 5 days since then this machine works flawlessly. I genuinely wanted a laptop that could handle anything you throw at it but also wanted a sleek professional look from it. Trust this laptop met all my expectations. The only complaint that I had so far is about the key size I wished the keys could have been a little bigger for easy and faster typing but it's not a deal breaker with time you will get used to it.

One of the wrost product hp omen 16 don't buy this laptop!!!
I bought one year back this laptop after few months I got reboot issue then one year after is not working completely, I gave to hp service centre to check my laptop. Then service centre checked and let me know motherboard fault you need to replace and the cost of motherboard price 80% of your laptop price. Don't waste your money and time.
