Has been very helpful, as my dog barks at my horses when I go out to feed them. I use the control devise and it has really taught her to quit barking when we are in the barn.

The media could not be loaded.  The only reason that I can think of that anyone would give this a bad review is because they probably missed the little slide switch on the right side that turns it ON. I have a Lab and a Pitbull and their favorite activity is barking out the living room window at anything that moves. They also bark excitedly when one or both of us walks in, even if we've only been outside for 15 minutes. It only took a tap on the gray Sonic button and both of my tasmanian devil dogs STOPPED barking immediately! They seemed a little confused, but the high anxiety barking stopped in their tracks and they went off to do something other than bark out the window. It doesn't seem to cause any discomfort or frighten them. I follow the tap on the button with the verbal command "no bark" and praise them with "good dogs" when they remain quiet. I have only used it 3 or 4 times in this last 24 hours since I got it and I am nothing less than THRILLED with the results! I haven't had to use the orange Max button at all. The incessant barking of my big dogs really stresses me out when it goes on all day and this little device has been a Godsend. My home is peaceful now that these two knuckleheads aren't barking non stop. I'm going to use this device to break other undesirable behavior, like my pitbull chewing on the fence. I didn't receive any compensation or discount for this review, but I can't recommend this device highly enough. If your dogs are driving you nuts with their constant barking, get this. It. Will. Stop. I am so thankful to have peace and quiet in my home and enjoy my dogs ALL the time. I wish that I'd found this years ago.

Not a bad device, I took it for myself because... I work as a technician at Optimum and often walk around the yards. Sometimes owners cannot keep an eye on their dogs and this device does its job to scare a dog that might bite.

My Golden Retriever basically laughed at this! It does NOT work for any breed larger than a Chihuahua! My mom uses them on her Chihuahua’s and she recommended this, it didn’t work at all for my Golden.

Makes the neighbors barking dog go back inside through the doggy door and bark inside their house. Airborne ultrasound doesn’t go through walls very well so it does require me to go outside to use it.

I bought this device in hopes that it would deter my neighbor's dog from barking. My neighbor is approximately 50 ft. away with a fenced in yard. When I go outside to do yard work the dog barks constantly the entire time. So, I bought this to bark back with technology.At first the dogs ears popped up so I know it heard something but within a few seconds it didn't care and began barking again. I put the device on high and tried again but the dog just barked more aggressively when I used it.I did get a little frustrated and reached over the fence to aim the device directly at the dog (he was small and couldn't reach my hand...good thing too) and he again reacted with his ears but it did not deter him from barking. The device is a nice concept but ultimately it did not work for my scenario.

I purchased this device because of my neighbors dogs. They bark insistently but when I push the button they quiet down.

We were doubtful this would work, but it suprisingly did! Our 2 small dogs, on a large property. They wander off, we quick press the button, they come backAt first, our dogs were afraid of the sound, but now they are used to it.We rarely ever use the 'max' button, but good to know it's there just in case.The device is,well built, has a handy flashlight as well. When you power it in, it buzzes 1 time to let you know it's on.You will rarely ever need to press the button more than a split second to get their attention.It includes a manual for training as well.Very good product, well worth the money.

I was very skeptical when purchasing this product. I have purchased a couple of bark control collars that terrified my dogs into not barking, but as soon as the collar was removed they instantly would revert to their undesirable behaviours. This device is incredible. The very first time we used in all four dogs froze. The two smaller ones hid because they were scared of the sound. The dogs no longer bark at the neighbours when they are put out in the backyard or bark at other dogs when I take them for a walk. Just the sight of the device now and they instantly stop barking. Most of the time, I do not even need to have the device on my person. I just say no barking. Thanks so much for this amazing device. I can now go for a walk or let the dogs out without feeling like I am going to disturb the neighbourhood. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a disruptive and annoying bark behaviour.

I have to very vocal dogs. A Pomeranian and a American Eskimo Keeshond. Walks were terrible if we encountered any other dog until this. It only took one push of a button and they stopped immediately. I’ve used bark collars before and by far this is way more effective. Amazing and easy and best yet no shock.

The item is small & handy. It has a flashlight & is easy to use.It worked on most dogs - but one or two didn't look bothered. They could possibly have been deaf.
