Afternoon Delight
I am a tea drinker and constantly looking for new flavors to try. I found this black tea by Taylors of Harrogate extremely enjoyable and it had a wonderful taste without having to add sugar, milk or even lemon. If you are looking for a really enjoyable cup of tea either in the afternoon or possibly after diner why not add a cookie or two and you will feel completely satisfied. If you have not tried this type I highly recommend it.

Only received ONE of SIX boxes
I like this tea. Have ordered many times. This time I ordered six boxes, 20 bags each but only received ONE box of 20 bags. Was charged ~$20. Item is non returnable and the Amazon customer service form I filled out keeps returning me back to the customer service form like some kind of loop.It is good tea, but $20 per box of 20 is too much.

Good Darjeeling Blend but Light
Good flavour, even though not the best of the Darjeeling kind. Takes brewing for between 4 and 5 minutes to bring out the full flavour, but over-brewing spoils the taste, so need to be careful. Under-brewing, or even following the 3-4 minute brewing guideline by ToH will likely result in very light liquor. If light liquor is desired, that would be perfect. But, in any event, the Darjeeling note is too distinct to be missed. It is overall a good Darjeeling blend.

A light Darjeeling for mid Summer day
This is a light Darjeeling blend that is more for mid day than it is for breakfast. It does not have the heaviness to be a breakfast tea. It does have some bitterness in front that asks for a touch of milk to tone it down. Over all as a Darjeeling, it is weak. Light in texture. Very light in notes. Heavy and rough on the bitter, wood characteristics. Most of the reviews from other sites about this tea states it is weak. Not a bad tea. But it is not what I would recommend for first time drinkers to a tea known as the champagne of teas. I rather recommend T------- for first timers who want to get a summary or idea of a Darjeeling. Neither would I recommend it to those who are lovers of Darjeeling and understand what I mean by 1st, 2nd and 3rd flush. To go by that, it does not taste like any particular flush unless you count that bitter after taste as more of a first flush characteristic. The theme of most Taylors of Harrogate teas is weak. Even their Assam is weak. It would be for those who want a timid and not pronounced tea. It does not stand out from the crowd. You get this bitterness in the front to linger at the end. That is very present. It hangs around and tells you it is a Darjeeling. The back, the rest of the notes, the body so to speak really is not there. That is what I mean by weak. The notes are very vague and hard to detect. You let the taste hang around a bit before it tells you it is a Darjeeling. Without the bitterness in front, it would be difficult to detect that it is a Darjeeling. The bitter after taste is more woodsy. For those who like their tea that way, this one is for you. I would not call it Earthy. Some may categorize woodsy with Earthy. Earthy to me is more fitting for a green tea that has the grassy, leafy, plant-like taste. The smell of a plant or something that is better as a veggie broth is Earthy. This is straight woodsy from front to back the more you sip. It is a sipping tea if you enjoy the rough woodsy character. Bit rough for gulping. Too harsh of a taste for me. Not balanced since all you get is the bitter, woodsy roughness and everything else behind is lost some where. It is definitely not the same as a S.H. single estate 2nd flush Darjeeling with the almond and peach notes. I guess this Afternoon Darjeeling by T of H is more rustic in terms of taste. It is still smooth as a drink, but the flavor is not as refined. A good Darjeeling does not require anything in it. Then it would hide the distinct notes that makes it unique and enjoyable. Over all, unless it is a breakfast tea, I prefer my tea straight. This would pair well with a game meat or a hearty, rustic dish. If you are going by bitterness as a way to categorize what time of day to have the tea to go with milk, it can go with a breakfast. It is still not classified as a breakfast tea since it is after all a Darjeeling. It may work with a blood sausage, haggis or meaty stew.

Another Fulfillment count problem at Amazon in Nevada. Please ship the remaking boxes, PLEASE.
The Darjeeling tea is great. We have enjoyed it for many years.BUT I ordered a SIXPACK of boxes times 20 teabags each = 120 teabags. At a price of $26.37.What arrived was ONE BOX of 20, presumably with a billing of $26.37.This has happened before with other errors in order fulfillment at the Amazon Fulfillment Center, Bay Lake Trail, Ste 115, N Las Vegas, NV.

Be careful ordering
I thought I was ordering the 20 tea bags per box individually wrapped and wound up with 50 in a box all attached together. I had to cancel my subscribe & save just to get rid of this huge amount of tea bags. I guess I will just donate them to the food pantry. I just can't use that many tea bags and there were six boxes of them. The tea is good, but it would take forever for me to use.

初のブランド紅茶体験でした。
いわゆる高級紅茶というものを試してみたくて購入しました。独特の苦味が心地よく、しかも後に残らず、スッと抜けていく感じが何ともたまらない。ハマりそう。。。
