When I received this tiny bottle, my first thought was that I am never going to have enough stain to cover the moon mirror. I never read item descriptions and the bottle was the size of an eye dropper bottle. But I was so wrong. I finally finished sanding the mirror yesterday and stained it today. I only used a couple of drops and spread the stain with a plastic glove rubbing the mirror with my finger and it came out beautiful. The stain made a really nice grainy finish and zero streaks that I would have had with a can of stain and a brush. I did it with one coat because I loved the finish. I have almost a whole bottle left. I highly recommend this product!

This product is my new go to for stain! I LOVE the way the product smells and the application process is simple and effortless. I was able to do the door trim and baseboards with one small bottle. I used on pine trim and it took it very well.

Have used Rubio pure to finish an audio cabinet. I had a small area I had to repair and resend. This small bottle worked perfect.

We bought a butcher block from a local home improvement store with the purpose of converting it into a desk and some shelves. We created legs and needed to stain them as close to the color of the butcher block and we found this product.It was a little on the spendy side especially since my husband had to purchase additional products to speed up the curing time but the color match was spot on.

Good stuff, but Rubio stuff is over priced.

I used this over top of a violin that I shellacked. That laser burned a design into it. Once I was finished and Used the oil again to give it a scrimshaw effect the finish turned out beautiful. I added a little bit at a time using a sock. I love it.

We've tested a number of Rubio products and are impressed with all of them. They're foolproof and totally safe for our family. The Monocoat seems bet suited to use on previously unfinished hardwood furniture, and does not work well on plywood. The coverage is pretty good, though I've found it doesn't go quite as far as the manufacturer indicates. Easy to apply with just a standard staining pad - one for application and one for wiping off. Make sure to sand to a smooth finish and you will see sanding marks after application if not sanded well (but this is true of most finishes). It definitely works best when mixed with Part B as it takes a long time to cure otherwise. You can purchase the Part B Accelerator together with the color or purchase smaller quantities of the Part A and Part B separately. It is so so easy to apply, hardly has any smell, and washes off with water. The finish is not glossy at all, but it feels like it really protects the wood.I discovered it specifically when looking for a completely non-toxic, no VOC product to finish a bookshelf in our baby's bedroom. I feel totally confident that it's safe for my family and couldn't be happier with the results. We've used it on both projects that get heavy use and are rarely touched and the finish holds up well under all circumstances.For exterior applications they also have Exterior Hybrid Wood Protector. The Look IPE color in this product seems fairly similar to the Ice Brown in the Monocoat. The Exterior Hybrid Wood Protector is equally awesome and easy. We used it on two unfinished exterior doors and even some interior furniture that gets heavier use (i.e. kitchen table and desk).

This stuff is amazing but $15 CDN for a sample so small it's near useless is sketchy on the Vendors part.

Expédition et réception très rapide ..J’ai choisi un échantillon qui a était largement suffisant pour un manche de pelle j’ai utilisé la moitié soit 10ml..(manche de 40cm environ)Attention cependant dans le tube de 20ml il y’a pas le durcisseur..j’ai pas fait attention avant de l’acheter..j’ai bien essuyer le surplus et pour le moment sa sèche depuis 1 jours et pas de soucis ..je verrais si dans 1 jours ou deux c’est sec et surtout si sa reste pas tout gras au toucher ..je ferais un retour si c’est le cas .Petit retour ..très bon produit ..24h plus tard le bois et pas poisseux c’est nikel ..

Elle pénètre bien le bois et permet un beau fini
