DEVASTATING TO LARGE SPIDERS!
Item arrived promptly. There is a smell, quite a strong one but it fades over time once the traps are in place so don't worry about that. I have an abnormally strong sense of smell in general so it would bother me if the odour at unboxing it remained. They are smaller than you think, but easy to assemble. There are instructions, but sausage fingered individuals (speaking from experience!) may accidentally find their digits making contact with the sticky surface. Easily rectified. After a few traps, you'll get the hang of it.Placed these around the fireplace, room corners etc and have caught several large spiders. It is INCREDIBLY sticky and they are stuck before they even enter the trap fully. This means, at least in my case, that lifting the trap was met with a big wriggle from the free legs...! However, a small price to pay for peace of mind.Like many, I have tried not to resort to these traps but after using the glass and card to take 20+ monster spiders out within one month, enough was enough. It got to the point where I thought it was the same spider but after seeing the effectiveness of these traps, I feel vindicated. When emptying the trap, put the wee fella out of its misery if you can stomach it. Otherwise it's a long slow starvation for a spider to endure. Highly effective traps, use once and discard.I bought the 30 pack because of the amount of spiders, and it turned out - it was not overkill...!

They definitely work. Caught over 200 spiders last year.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Amazing! These Spider Traps Really Are Brilliant! These things are absolutely amazing! I honestly cannot praise them enough. Such a simple yet incredibly effective idea, and one of those products I’m so glad I discovered! They’re wonderfully easy to set up and can be tucked away discreetly in corners, behind furniture and along skirting boards, exactly where those unwanted eight-legged visitors like to hide! The pack of 30 is fantastic value for money, giving you plenty of traps to place around the home. No messy sprays, no unpleasant smells and no complicated instructions. Just a brilliantly simple solution. For anyone who absolutely hates spiders, these are a fantastic find. Having them around the house gives me extra peace of mind, especially during spider season!I’m genuinely delighted with these and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase them again. An outstanding product, fantastic value for money and a very well-deserved 10 out of 10! Highly recommended! ⭐

These traps are cruel and inhumane! These traps should be banned!
I bought these to finish the control of some grain weevil we had. However, our cat likes to catch mice and bring them home, she does not kill them or injure them but plays with them until she is bored and then let them go. I often take them of her as soon as I see here with one and I keep the poor mouse in a box for a day until it has recovered from shock and then release it back in the garden. However, one very small mouse managed to escape from the box as there was a hole the size of a rubber on a pencil, very small. It managed to escape and when searching the room for it I saw that it had become completely stuck on one of these glue traps, it entire side was stuck, all its feet, legs, tail and it died of exhaustion or suffocated from the glue around its nose and mouth, from trying to escape. The glue in these traps were so thick and strong, for such a small mouse, there was no way it could be released, all four legs were engulfed in this thick sticky glue, I was so sad and so furious that I used these traps and will never use such horrible traps again, not even for pest insects. These traps are big enough to catch even medium size rodents and it using outside they could catch a large number of small animals, slow worms, small birds looking for a easy meal, lizards, etc.,Do not buy these traps, use humane methods instead. Glue traps of any sort are banned in the USA and are one of the most cruellest methods for an animal to die. You may buy them for spiders but you have no idea of what else could get stuck on them and I never though anything other than some stray weevil would succumb to these traps. Just search "Glue Traps" on Google images for further reason not to bu these vile traps.Do not use them! I will certainly never buy these gain and will be disposing of what I have left. The small defenceless mouse caught in my trap suffered, A LOT and I will not lose this feeling of guilt.

Works but be patient
Works but you have to wait. Took 4 days but worth it for the MONSTER we caught. Might catch them faster if you have more around. The others have caught a tiny woodlouse and some flies. Was skeptical, but today I found the trap upside down and went to put it the right way to find this. Do wish there was a more humane way but enough was enough when I found a tarantula in my baby’s bed. A good option if you’re not able to catch them yourself.

Pheromone smell makes them unbearable to have around
I've been using this brand of trap for a few years now, but they must have changed since I last bought them, because they didn't have pheromones before.Previously they worked amazingly, great at trapping even massive spiders. I used the last of my previous batch recently and I came to find it moved away from the wall because the massive spider inside had tried to pull away so hard and been unable to. And that was with no smell, just placed in the sections I normally have them.I just received the new batch and I was hit with the most god AWFUL smell when I opened the packaging. It used to arrive in a large paper envelope and now they've moved to plastic no doubt to keep said smell in. These are now unusable for me and money wasted. I have 5 traps in my living room during the peak spider season and I won't be able to stand having this smell. That's the reason for the reduction in stars. There was no need to add the pheromones because they worked brilliantly before. I might actually have to throw these out now because the smell is so horrible

These work really well and are small enough to put in small areas out of sight. No smell off them.
Oh now these are really good at trapping spiders. I have not had a single issue with them at all. Not one has popped back open. The sticky strip to hold them open/constructed works perfectly and whatever it is that attracts the spiders in there works. There isn't any smell from them. The are quite small and realistically they only hold two spiders. I think once two are in there, if a third arrived it might get stick but it might be able to walk over the other two that are in there. It depends where the first two are stuck and if the third tries to walk around them. They are durable enough and, to be fair, once you have one spider in there you might just want to stand on the trap and put it out of its misery but once you do that then the trap needs to go in the bin. These worked out to 50p per trap and depending how many spiders you have around the house you might go through them quickly. So far, we seem to have most spiders in the living room. I have 6 down in one bedroom and there has only been one spider. In the other bedroom I put three down and they caught 2 spider. But in the living room where we have put 5 down, the spiders have been caught by just three of the trap placements ( a total of 10 spiders). Yes, I put more down than you might need but we have a gap issue between the skirting and the floor so I am being over cautious here.

Highly effective—placement is everything.
These traps work incredibly well, but correct positioning is absolutely key to their success. For the best results, make sure to place them directly against your skirting boards. I have also found that assembling them into a triangular shape catches far more spiders than folding them into a tube. As a helpful tip, if you leave one or two spiders inside the trap, it actually seems to lure more of them in. While I keep these down and renew them year-round, they are consistently active and full during their peak months in September, October, and November. I can highly recommend.

Worked well
The product worked very well. I put the traps in some hot spots around my house. The traps caught so many silver fishes, tiny spiders & other crawling insects. The product is easy to use & discard.

Funciona

Useless
Absolutely useless. Been in my house for months, nothing came to it. Waste of money I'm afraid.
