Very nice kit of blackout shade to block out sunlight and streetlights. The kit came with most everything you need. The instruction sheet was fair. instruction sheet does mention the kit comes with scissors and a marker, mine did not but I did not expect it to. The kit comes with everything mentioned in the Amazon sales page, shade material, hook and loop Velcro strips and dots, very nice tape measure, 3 metal clips to use for rolling up your shades, and plastic tubes to line the bottom of the shades. Overall, a very detailed kit with a decent instruction sheet. It took me maybe 45 minutes to measure, cut and install. I had to do on a standard window that is split into two parts. The bottom part that raises and lowers and the fixed upper. So, my window application was not flat, the lower portion of the window steps out the depth of the window frame. I thought this would cause issues but, in the end, I couldn’t expect a much better job of covering the window. They recommend putting the Velcro strip on top and using dots on the sides and bottom. I also put a dot on each side of the top side facing up of the bottom window frame. This ensured that the window would have a tight seal over the step. Overall, a very nice kit and it does an excellent job of keeping out the light. I am very happy!

These are a great addition for the nursery. We have blinds and curtains, but something was missing because light still peaks thru during nap times. The blackout curtains are great for getting the room a lot darker. Now our little miss sleeps great!

Everything I need is included in this box. It does work to keep the room dark.

I was so disappointed when I received this, as I was expecting a shade that was mounted and rolled up and down like other roller shades. What I got was a folded-up piece of blackout material, some cheap-feeling plastic tubes, and some feeble instructions. I suppose if you want to tape it to your window or staple it, this will be ok, but this is by no standard a roller shade. Make an informed decision if you purchase this so that you know what you are actually getting.

I got this for my travel trailer because during this hot summer, so much heat comes in through the window despite the curtain.
