Though you do get a decent amount of wool and colors, there is human hair in the bags which is really gross and makes me sketched out on the whole product.

This is a great way to release stress from a bad day after about 30 minutes you feel relaxed

I think this set has changed since I got it and am now reviewing it. First, the set came in a really lovely red hexagon shaped box with a ribbon tie. The presentation was really nice but all the felt was packed into small plastic bags in there and not as shown in the picture now. Many of the colors are very bright and vibrant which is great for flowers or cartoon characters, but not as useful if you want more natural looking animal figures. The pad and finger gloves are really nice and useful. Honestly absolutely necessary to complete a project. It is nice that this is a start to finish kit for any beginner.

The best value of this is:a) the box-it's sturdy, reuseable, great for many usesb) the felting pad-most kits come with a styrofoam block that traps wool, making them almost a hindrance than a help. This pad works way better.c) the needle assortment-I am constantly breaking needles, so I am in need of a good bunch,and this works for that.The wool is decent quality, but the amount of each colour is pretty meager. You won't be able to make much without mixing colours to get volume. So the wool part of this is really supplemental rather than primary source, but it's good.The stencils are cool, and probably useful for some crafters. I haven't found a use for them yet, but I might.
