A robust, quality bulb.
I bought these bulbs primarily to try one in place of a 1.5W led that is currently in my bedside lamp. Whilst it's a nice light, for me it's not quite bright enough, hence the reason for trying these. They are listed as 2.5W yet the individual bulb boxes say they are 3W bulbs. I'm not sure what I was expecting with these, but my first impression was that they are quality bulbs. The design is curious but appealing and the hard silicon housing suggests that they are fairly robust.Light output was what I expected and it's brighter than my current bulb, which suits me perfectly. The picture shows rather a cool white light, but that's down to the white balance on my phone camera. It is definitely a warm white colour and is ideal for bedroom use. My bedside lamp is a straight switched variety, therefore I tried it in a touch lamp to see if it would work as they are listed as dimmable. Ordinary LED lamps struggle to light or flicker terribly in this situation, yet this did work, albeit with a slight but perceptible flicker on the lower settings. This is pretty good considering the touch lamp is meant for ordinary tungsten filament bulbs.Overall, I'm very impressed with these bulbs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Great idea, very unreliable and poor light quality
They are nearly very good but I cannot reccomend these at all. I like the idea of a compact bulb without a glass bulb housing like traditional bulbs. I had a chandelier with 12 of these, no electronics or dimmers, and they have been going out one by one - about 1-2 per week. So I can estimate from the 18 I have had, down to 10 now over the course of 5 weeks. That gives you an expected lifetime of about 2 months... and the bulbs are only used about 4-6 hours per day... i.e. far worse than you get with an incandescent bulb. One came apart in my hands just from attempting to screw it in.To add to that, the colour is actually not very nice. It's an odd slightly harsh colour of yellow, it looks to have a hint of green; these are not very representative of a true warm yellow light with even spectral emmision; they are low CRI. Also, due to the very small size, these do not come with smoothing capacitors like some of the higher quality larger bulbs and therefore some people may find they appear to strobe; some are more sensitive to this than others, I find it fine but my wife does not. This is quite a typical problem with LED's but the major manufacturers' bulbs seem to suffer less from this problem.

OK for the price and nice and small.
Works really well. No obvious flickering (I’m using them in a VarilightPro LED Dimmer Switch with no issues). However, there is a 50Hz strobe effect most probably because they do not contain smoothing caps (waving your hand in front of your face makes a strobe-like effect) which may or may not be annoying to you, so they drop a star..No problems with installation, they’re direct drop in and no need to file the bottom solder down, they work fine in standard E14 SES holders.I bought the cool white as I wanted a more neutral look but it is far too harsh and clinical so am now ordering some warm white ones so I can add some of those and compare.Drops another star because each bulb is actually a slightly different hue - so in my 5 bulb ceiling light, 2 look a slightly bluish/green shade of white, 2 look v v slightly pinkish and only 1 looks dead on pure white. The difference is subtle but definitely noticeable.EDIT: I have since got the "Warm white" ones which are too yellow on their own imo, so I have mixed and matched and seem to get a nice overall hue using 2 cool white and 3 warm white bulbs (I have a 5 bulb ceiling light).

Tiny, Bright and effective
From my first initial thoughts, these are actually really good. They are small as required but power up really quick.- External deliver packaging is good- Packaged very well internally- individual boxes- strong design bulbs- good amount of light for the watts- quick illuminationWithout going over the top they are more than fit for purpose and only a test of time will show how long they will last verses the 30000H.The light colour temperature is warmish as you can see from the photos at 2800K-3000KEnergy savings are key in my household so trying to save where it matters most is something everyone should be doing. You can't go wrong here and I hope this mini review helps

Bright, efficient, tiny bulbs!
These bulbs come in a tiny packet that I was dubious would fit into my light fittings, but actually they were completely fine for fitting into the appropriate E14 light. They are energy saving (rating A+) and appear to be made of something other than glass so would be harder to smash. Overall they seem good value for money given you get a pack of 6, and even in a small flat with limited storage space it is easy to have them on hand for when a bulb comes to the end of its life. Please note that I did not have a dimmer lamp so could not use the dimmer function.

Small, solid and powerful
I'm really impressed by these lights. When they first arrived not having used this type before i was worried by how small they are but this is clearly the next logical progression for light bulbs. Although small they feel really solid and with an impressive class a+ energy rating they are just as bright as there nearly twice as big old school energy rating D cousins. They also turn on immediately unlike the old style energy saving light bulbs.

Doesn't fit myE14 / SES fitting correctly
None of these bulbs fitted into correctly into any of my E14 / SES fittings. The only way to get them to work was to file off some of the solder at the end, but then they only worked intermittently.

One Star
Terribly only two of the six Bulbs worked. Don't waste your money.
