Brilliant piece of kit!
Plugged in straight out of the box to replace my old/existing Booster &... Wow! All the channels I wanted, plus a few I didn't, were there on my telly!OK. the technical bit...Firstly, there are no instructions supplied with the box, just a diagram that represents a DIFFERENT Booster to that which I'd ordered. Nonetheless, if you have an old Booster set up, you shouldn't find it too difficult to work out where all your existing leads fit into this Amplifier (as others have stated, there are NO leads supplied with this item).Next, I did an auto-search for the channels on my TV. At first, there was nothing. I then switched the new Booster to UHF & turned the little dial up to the max &... BINGO! My television soon re-tuned & found all my previously lost & poor signalled channels.Unfortunately, this now means I also have to put up with the "Adult" channels which, I'm pretty sure, weren't available before. Still, if that's enough to tempt YOU to buy...

TV picture breakup on Freeview? Check this out, it's brilliant.
The reception from a good number of my freeview channels was so poor using my indoor aerial that by the time this unit arrived I actually arranged to return it before I'd even tested it. As one last try I bought a couple of1 x F-Connector Male to 1x IEC Coax Female Low Noise Adapters(NOT INCLUDED in the package, and I am very glad I did. The performance improvement has been dramatic:Check out this comparison of my frequencies, with % signal strength:Frequency 31: Before - 54%, After - 86 %Frequency 37: Before - 90%, After - 96 %Frequency 49: Before - 42%, After - 78 %Frequency 50: Before - 70%, After - 94 %Frequency 54: Before - 30%, After - 90 %Frequency 55: Before - 26%, After - 58 %Frequency 56: Before - 30%, After - 70 %Frequency 58: Before - 42%, After - 82 %Frequency 59: Before - 46%, After - 86 %I have now 140 reliable Freeview TV channels and 33 Digital Radio channels using an indoor aerial (£25) and this box (£19)Happy days

10dB DVB-T two output booster with 4G rejection filter
The Wolsey 2 way distribution amplifier works well and seems not to mind having a masthead amp giving it a strong signal, and it can optionally power the masthead amp with +12V.The F-sockets have clean threads and allow the usual cable mounted F-plugs to fit easily. The gain adjustment ranges from 0dB to +10dB, and my signal tester agrees with this. The blue LED is very, very bright, too bright, so much so that I've put some tape over it.Before finally swapping over the boosters I used some B004HTK4TW Belling-Lee socket to F-plug adaptors to connect the existing cables to the F-sockets on the Wolsey for test purposes. When I finally fitted the F-plugs on the cables the signal improved by few more dB.The mains lead is short at only one metre. Also the Wolsey is bigger, gets warmer, and uses twice as much power for less gain than my old booster, hence only 4*, but it does have the big advantage of the 4G rejection filter.

Great product solved pixilated pictures across the house.
After having difficulties with signal to my five tvs across the house for years I spent time researching and various TV boosters. If you have the same issues where you can't pick up HD channels at some of your more distant televisions then buy this. Great product, easy to connect, I had to purchases some coaxial connectors, but once turned on the difference is amazing. No more pixilated images and all the tvs are showing all the channels without issue. Particularly like the ability to turn up the amplifier if needed. Mine is set on the lowest setting and has been ample.

It's only ON when you use the ON SWITCH.
Was about to return this as not working at all. Then I read a review on Amazon. One bloke said turn on the unit, well the led light was on so its must be on I reasoned. On closer inspection there is a recessed on/off slide button on the end, see photo. There is no mention of this in the poor instructions. Should have designed this unit with a default off light until actually turned on! Once turned on, guess what, it works very well!

Worth the extra cost
Having tried several other cheaper amplifiers I was reluctant to pay for an expensive one. I currently use a HD Freeview Box. Which just wouldn't pick up HD TV.However in my last throw of the dice I bought this booster and not only did it bring in HD it added another 10 channels making 165 in total

Easy to install. Great booster.
Easy to install with just 2 connectors. However, if you have a normal aerial cable you will need 2 additional connector/adapters - NOT supplied! (Type F male Satellite type to coax female). Connect the aerial cable to the input and another coax aerial cable from the output 1 to your TV. Signal strength is boosted automatically as can be adjusted by a screwdriver slot on the booster. We had broken up sound and picture on BBC channels and the booster fixed this immediately.

Well made booster/splitter
There's not a lot to say except that this booster/splitter works as advertised and feels well made. I didn't realise from the details that the power supply is built-in with just a mains plug so it makes a neat solution. I like the F-type connectors too which stay firmly connected duing the battle with the spaghetti behind the telly to put everything back tidily.
