Keep Restocking This
I will keep buying this. Works great with two Kitras ArtGlass oil lamps that I purchased for my mother for christmas and her birthday. I am very concerned about the environmental and health impact of items I buy, and especially those that will be burned in my family's home... especially with other child or pets around who may mistakenly ingest something. This oil does really have quite a pungent odor, but as long as you don't spill it on anything that will stain - you're good to go. It burns great and one bottle lasts a couple months. So glad for a clean-burning product!

Appalling smell
I received a beautiful geode-topped oil lamp for Christmas and started looking for a non-toxic oil. Found this one and ordered it--two large bottles' worth. However, I can't abide the smell of the oil. The relaxing effect of the lamp is totally counteracted by the scent of the oil, which lingers for weeks and which clings to fabric--I got a couple of drips on a sock, and the entire load of laundry came out reeking of this oil. Washed the load three times, once with vinegar and twice with bleach, left everything outside to air for a day, and some of the items still had to be thrown away because the smell would not go away. Sadly, while I applaud the idea of clean oil, I can't recommend this product.

It works..but
Omgosh..the smell is so intolerable, and if you get any on you or it spills, it'll stay. It's nearly impossible to get rid of the smell initially. Some spilled on my kitchen rug recently, and it's enough to clear a room. You can't exactly throw it away, somehow I'm going to have to burn all of it off. It works of course, there's not doubt it burns, but the smell is more than I can take. It can actually make you dizzy if you smell it too long. Green?..yeah, I'm green alright. You really wanna go green? Just get heat proof glass and add some olive oil, then put a floating wick on top..done. Floating wicks cost about nothing, and you can dispose of it easily if necessary. Forget this.

Much better than other lamp oils!
I ordered a single bottle of this a few weeks ago and once I tried it, ordered the two pack. I agree with reviewers on other sites that the smell is, um, interesting. It isn't bad, but occasionally noticeable.Having said that...I will never use another kind of lamp oil. There is no soot, it burns clear and evenly, and is obviously much better for the environment. That is important to me and so I'm willing to pay a little more for it.Overall, a great product. Now if I can just get my local stores to sell this :)

Works great
I was a little worried at first using a "green" oil but appears to work just fine. If there is a negative, it's just like any other lamp oil Do Not Spill, the smell lingers for a long time even after cleaning.

great stuff
I really like this lamp oil. It is clean and has no odor to it. I am completely comfortable burning this in the oil lamps in my home. It does not smoke like other oils will when you turn the wick up higher for more light. Very happy with this and will continue to use it in the future.

Better than candles
We painted our 1 bedroom condo, and while we LOVE to burn candles, we were looking for a way to preserve the paint job while still enjoying some small flames for ambiance throughout the place. this and some glass burners made for a great way to enjoy both.

Awesome!
I keep a couple oil lanterns on hand for emergencies and always disliked the kerosene odor. This oil is amazing! NO smoke, pleasant odor just great! A bit pricey but its worth it, I am never going back! Oh, and I will be ordering 2 more!
