dries hard as nails. goes on fine. coverage not great, but maybe I put it on too thickly

I wanted to wait for a while to write this review. The product is simply amazing. It is easy to put on if you are prepared to take your time and not rush it. I spent about an hour to do about 20 square meters. I used pretty much the whole container. I needed another container for the second coat. I initially started by using a roller but switched to a brush because in doing the edges I could see it was much easier to apply in an even way using a brush, even though it would obviously take longer. The product dried (no tacky feeling) after about 24 hours, and after about a week it was solid, felt like granite solid. Just as I suspected, nothing was getting through - no damp, water, dirt...nothing. I should add that I spent about 2hours making sure my garage floor was as clean as possible - I brushed it, washed it down with a damp cloth, then I went on my hands and knees and removed dried paint, plaster and other debris that had built over time. I couldn't get everything off but I did as much as I could, as I'd seen youtube videos where this was strongly advised. I don't know if the epoxy would have adhered to the ground as well if I hadn't done this. It wasn't worth the risk to me not to do it because I heard that removing the hardened epoxy was difficult, and now its hard, I can believe it would take some doing to remove it. I am very pleased with the product; in the beginning I thought it was expensive but now, seeing its quality I think its good value. In addition, the Drybase customer service were very helpful - I called them to ask them whether it would be still be possible to apply it 24hours after mixing (answer: no but you could mix only half contents and mix the other half contents next day). Also I asked about coverage, and they said this was up 20-35 square meters if I remember correctly, but in my experience I'd say one tub is enough to coat 22 square meters with a single coat. Maybe a more experienced person could be more efficient and get two coats where I did one: although I was definitely over-using (wasting) some of it, I dont think I was using twice what was required. Anyway, I decided not to apply it sparingly as I wanted a good solid first coat and a good solid second coat. I didn't want to have to pay someone to come and re-do it because I was skimping. It turned out very well: looks good and solved my issues.
