I use hearing protection when using a ride on mower thats rated at 105dB. Until getting these I used the big headphone type but the vibration causes low level drumming which can make you feel ill after two hours of din.I thought I would try these as they should roll thin and sit deep in the ear canal and not fall out.The result is quite amazing. It has changed the dreaded chore to a different experience. Its almost quiet whilst mowing. AMAZING! I roll them very thin and pop them in fast and dont start the engine until they are seated and all is quiet.A great buy. Also, you can wear safety specs and a hat and they dont all collide on your head.

I'm mainly using these for long and motorway speed motorcycle riding. Wind noise in the helmet over time is actually very damaging to your hearing, and hearing protection is needed. It works great for that purpose. You can always opt in for reusable ear plugs which are designed for that purpose, but I have to say I've tried so many of those and none of them works as good as these. They're also a great solution if you're carrying a pillion and they don't have any hearing protection.Each pair is individually packaged, so you can carry a few extra pairs with you and keep them hygienic. You won't need to deal with putting them in a ziploc bag. There are instructions on each individual packaging on how to put them on correctly and noise level reduction details. The main packaging also specifies the certification details.To summarise, SNR (Single Number Rating) value is rated 37dB (decibels). SNR is used to compare the level of noise attenuation. To determine acoustic pressure, subtract the SNR value from the average noise level measured. For example, wind noise in helmet at about 70 mph is roughly 90dB, so after applying the hearing protection, the acoustic pressure would be 90-37=53db. Long story short, noise is reduced drastically to safer levels. HML values (which are also used to determine the degree of protection) are H: 37dB, M: 34dB and L:31dB.

I know they’re designed to use with heavy machinery. But they’re comfortable as sleeping aids also as they really block out the surrounding sounds.

who would have thought that a good nights sleep would be so cheap. The plugs are individually packages and are such good value. It manages to block out snoring sounds very well indeed. I bought 100 pieces, but they hardly take up any room so storing them is not a problem. They are small enough that it doesn't feel uncomfortable when sleep on your side.

i've tried many others but these are the best for me, couldn;t be without them

The product in great, comfortable and cost effective.What you (may) get when you order "pack of 100" is not an regular pack, with production date on it, but a delivery packing plastic bag with 100 smaller bags inside, each with a pair of earplugs. The problem is that when these earplugs get older (i.e. several years, maybe even 10 years) the foam tends to be stiffer. These does not seem to be the case with the ones I got, as they are as soft as expected.
