This item is great quality and works as should but doesn’t exactly fit correctly leaves the top braces on show so doesn’t look as smart as I’d of liked

Got this to fit in my Golf. It is exactly the right part. The problem is, that when its fitted there is a good inch of space at the top which makes the inner metal housing very noticeable and looks disastrous.I sent it straight back for a refund. I guess the problem is with the design which is not measured correctly with the actual size of the space it is going to sit in. I was really gutted, and will take the advice of many others, and just pick up a £15 second hand one of ebay.

Fits well for my Golf mk4 2003

Although it is quite cheap. On my 2000 GTI mk4 it has awful fitment. The tray falls out when it extends and bends against the trim. I've ended up just buying a working VW used one on ebay for the same price and it fits flawlessly.

Doesn't fit properly, sticks out and door gets jammed on car trim. Tried to use it and on the third time it just blew apart on me. Into the bin it goes!

Does what it says on the tin, very handy.

Looks like it was trying to open while packed and bent the front so don’t open when fitted
