She’s a mafia princess hes the man she’s been in love with for years he’s also her brothers best friend there is no way they can be together.Since I read Dante I knew there could be no one else for Joey than max. The tension was already building in the first book in the series but it explodes in this book.Like holy hell Sadie Kincaid where do you dream these men up from, the mouth in max 🥵🥵🥵, I would do anything that man asked of me.The book follows the development of the relationship between Joey and Max, the secrets they keep and the doubts they have about themselves. Whilst they fight to be together they also find themselves find someone who is after revenge against the family.Plenty of twists and turns in the book Joey is one bad ass princess who can fight with the best of them and needs no man to rescue her she can do that all by herself.Edit to review, I’ve sinced listened to the audio of the book, holy hell I thought it was hot when I read it but the audio version is 10 times hotter, Joe Arden could not have been a better narrator it’s as if the character of Max was written with joes voice in mind , the filth that comes out of that and mouth 🥵🥵🥵
