Must Manually Turn on Each Time
It works "fine" but after a power outage it doesn't come back on.. You have to physically click the little button to turn it back on. Mine is down with my server equipment, so It is a hassle to go back down to get it mounted. The quality seems fine, when it is up and running it does as advertised. I don't need high speeds since I use it as part of my nightly backup, but it seems to run fine once you turn it on, each and every time the power skips. For the price it is a great addition to any desktop. Push the hard dice in until it is seated, then it show up like any other external device, it's that easy to use.

It works well
It works well. The dock allowed me to recover and repurpose an old 3TB 3.5 inch hard drive I had laying around after the computer it was in died. I connected the drive (via the dock) to my new computer and the drive was immediately accessible. I recovered old files and then set the drive up as a backup for my new computer. So far there have been zero issues or glitches. Good value.

Failed Just After Warranty Expired
This drive originally worked well but at 13 months after purchase it stopped recognizing my drives. I changed cables and used working drives but it still didn't work. I reached out to the company and they told me that the product was no longer under warranty and refused to help. I'm not the only one posting about reliability so I'd consider buying a different dock.
