Beacon Fabri-Tac Glue 8 oz.

I bought these to glue crochet appliques onto crochet blankets. Im not too sure how it would wear up to too much washing but I found it really handy to keep appliques in place until I had stitched them on to the blanket

This glue is arguably the best fabric glue out there. Believe me, if you glue it with Fabri-Tac, it isn’t going anywhere. I have made doll wig caps, wigs, miniature dresses, miniature jewelry, fabric roses, etc. i have repaired small tears in clothing and attached patches with this stuff. It dries clear and doesn’t show through like some others do, and as I say, it is really permanent. What I don’t like is that it is quite viscous, smells terrible, tends to leave strings, and dries really fast so I only squeeze out a small amount at a time and just accept that it has a few properties I don’t like. The other thing I used to hate was that the bottle tip clogged repeatedly. I discovered Sweet Sugarbelle Icing bottles here on Amazon, however, transferred my Fabri-Tac to them, and haven’t had a clog since.

It works well and I’ve yet to find a brand that holds up this fantastic! The bond holds up through the wash and I’ve used it on carpets that were fraying as well as on patches for my jeans that now look like they have that embroidery look that costs a fortune! This glue really works on any and all fabric. A quick cheat vs sewing as well as a great way to repair a tear that is ina spot that can’t be sewn! Truly found uses for it I never thought of until I had it at my fingertips! Very happy and will definitely get another bottle when I finish gluing any and everything I can vs sewing! Soooo much easier! Like I said, the embroidery look is VERY in right now and I ordered some on eBay but they turned out to not have that wonderful iron on backing so out comes the fabric-tac and I carefully placed the glue on the back of the patch and applied to my jeans! They have been through several washings and I’ve only had to apply glue in spots that I missed the first round. Superior product and fast becoming a household product! I even used them on a pair of slippers that the sole was coming separated from the slipper! Overnight...like NEW! Get a bottle, you won’t be sorry! And NO, I WAS NOT compensated for this review! This stuff is magic!♥️

The Fabri-Tack adhesive is a great buy and I'll keep using it. I have had zero problems with it.

I am quite happy with this purchase. The consistency is a little more liquidy than I anticipated but it does give a good solid hold.

Used it to adhere trim on lampshade. Easy peaszy
