Far better than plastic, these will take your button-making to the next/professional level. These parts are well-made, durable and can be used in any button making machine where the original components of the button were plastic. I would recommend these to anyone that enjoys long-lasting buttons.

Worked great and the price is right

FYI!!! I have a very old button maker, it’s probably 45 years old or older- the “badge a minit” brand. Because of this I was nervous if I’d find the correct size button blanks for it. This package comes with a black rubber gasket and an instruction sheet saying that the buttons will not work if you try to make them without the gasket- so for my first button I used the gasket and the button did NOT close properly and had to be trashed. As soon as I removed the gasket the buttons worked flawlessly. So just an FYI that even though the instructions say you NEED the gasket, your brand button maker may not require it.

These worked perfect for me! Make sure to use the plastic ring that comes with the kit and there shouldn’t be any issues. Will buy again. Just for reference: I have the black vevor 58mm button maker.

I love these, however the metal backing is a little noisy and not my favorite. I’ll be sticking to plastic in the future. Other than that, functionality is great, and I’ll still use them!

ES LO QUE PROMENTEN

I needed button making supplies for a last minute event, and went with this product because they offered a large quantity. I have access to two brand-name button makers from a big button making machine manufacturer. I ended up buying three sets of 800, 1.25" supplies. When they arrived, everything looked fine. The next day, I brought them into my studio to make pins and immediately notices issues with the quality and consistency of the materials. The clear sheets that come with this set is supposed to be used in lieu of mylar sheets that come with brand name sets. The listing specifies that it is 'high quality' but in reality it is not at all. First of all, the sheet is not clear - it definitely muddies your image. Second, the sheets aren't cut correctly at all, and I wasn't equipped to cut this type of plastic sheet. My $$$, brand-name, 1.25 inch, all metal, circle punch had a really rough time trying to cut these clear sheets to the correct size. It jammed so much after 5 sheets that I gave up on these because I was afraid to damage the punch. The metal pin components are terrible - in my first batch of 200, I would say a solid 25-30 did not attach properly. Again, I'm using a brand-name button maker that I've never had issues with before using these supplies. To have more than 10% of the pins 'malfunction' is really bad. In the end, I had to purchase original brand supplies for overnight delivery. I had gone with Amazon because I have Prime, but overall I would skip these and just only order from my brand name site going forward and pay for shipping.
