Memories
I haven't heard this band since the 70's. They were a well respected band in the style of the jazz, rock of Blood, Sweat and Tears rather than the more poppy Chicago. Not only is the album excellent but the accompanying DVD is superb. I have sat on that hall floor many a time watching bands like Colosseum and Steeleye Span.On this album even the 70's vocals and lyrics don't sound cheesy.

The CD arrived in time the CD quality is good but the quality of the DVD isnt so good.
The CD is well worth a listen IF were an outstanding band the DVD isn't so good the quality of the images isn't all that good , but having said that it contains rare footage of IF who a great band live. If you like jazz rock that is original this is for you.

Great Music Badly handled
IF was a fantastic band that deserves a much better treatment 1st CD The music has its dynamics compressed so less than half of it remains ( using foobar plug-in Dynamic Range Meter ) This repertoire release has DR 5 Earlier Edsel-CD DR 11 Original vinyl DR 12 ( to put these # in contect Beatles has as general DR 11 Gentle Giant "In a Glasshouse" vinyl DR 15 ) 2nd DVD This looks like a straight rip of a VHS without any post production most likely a home taped video at least it's not a Master Tape that's been used , lots of hiss too. IF's Music 5 ***** Sound and Image quality -5 -***** Repertoire as a label -10000 If you want the music ( CD ) get a hold of an Edsel copy instead

If, more and once more live If
At last a chance to see this great and unforgetible band, one of the most soulful British jazz rock power. It's not wonder that someoene like If didn't exist longer with such expressions that they produced. Such fine and passionate Dick Morrisey and other boys from the band deserved a one of the highest thrones in England and world music history.
