The first thing you notice about the Wavemaster Stax is what appears to be a a gimmick - the wired remote volume control. You soon realise it is a genuinely useful 'extra'. In fact, it also has the line in (so you can connect a smartphone directly, for example) and headphone sockets, which make it extremely useful as a virtual extension cable for each. It avoids the usual hassle of either reaching to the back of the PC or have wires trailing from the front.This remote pod feels reassuringly heavy and the rotation is smooth. The volume control is also the on/off, activated when you rotate the knob past the resistance at the bottom end of the volume. A discrete LED on the unit indicates the power. Even the power on/off is damped.The two satellite speakers have solid metal bases, again giving that feel of quality. The actual plastic of the speaker housings is a little less high quality. Go to the back of the sub-woofer and mouldings quality drops a little, again. But this is nit-picking for such a reasonably-priced unit. It is worth mentioning that the satellite speakers can be either deskmounted (nice and stable with their solid metal bases) or wall mounted. There is a screw hole in it and the unit tilts through 90 degress in one plane (although it won't tilt left and right if it is wall mounted).The treble is sharp enough and of the quality you would expect at this price point. The bass bin is a pretty hefty unit (the mass reinforces that better-than-you-expect quality) and includes a main speaker as well as the bass. The bass is not going to rattle the tiles off the roof but has enough grunt for pop and classical. You might need something with more testosterone if you are going to be feeding your Wavemaster a diet of drum-and-bass.The stuff is even nicely packed and is obvious to set up even without the included manual. I had the Wavemaster with the two satellites either side of the monitor and the bin on the floor and it gave a warm full sound with depth to the stereo and clarity across the range. For the the top 20% of the volume, distortion noticeably crept in for the vocals. Gamers might need something with more poke for a fully immersive experience, especially if they are to be further from the speakers, such as on a sofa. This is definitely no replacement for a full 5.1 home cinema system but it is 2.1 after all.The Wavemaster Stax is A well-featured full-time PC speaker system with excellent build quality exceeding its price and some worthwhile design touches.

I bought these in January 2018 after 12 weeks careful use the right hand speaker stopped working. After checking with the manufacturer who was no help I contacted Amazon who arranged a refund on return of the faulty goods. I then spent another age looking to replace and apart from expensive Bose could find nothing worth the money. So I opted again for the Wavemaster Stax. On the basis if it packs in again I can return and get my money back. When I got the second set the connections were completely different to the first. 3.5 mm to RCA feed in and the remote volume control had a screw in connector rather than the push in. Although German haha these are made in China and the quality control is not German but Chinese. Different components visible hide the possibility there are different components inside. So how do we know we are getting what we pay for? I went back because the sound quality is good. I am pleased with that but am not sure about reliability. Hope someone in Germany bothers to read this.

First thing I noticed was how nicely everything was packaged, all parts individually wrapped and well protected. The satellites are cool & cute, while having a really good weight to them, and they stand on a round base which can pivot at various angles – really neat.The remote sits nicely on my desk and when turning it – the ‘click’ noise gives a positive affirmation that it’s on and it also has a little blue light indicator too.You can also plug in your headphones and it has a ‘line in’ - all on the remote – giving easy access, so you don’t have to muck around plugging in headphones in the back of your computer.The subwoofer is loud enough to make you consider your neighbours!Audio quality is more than good enough for general music listening, and watching Youtube tutorials. The subwoofer is less obtrusive than I thought it would be, and doesn't take up too much space.Mine came with an instruction manual, which was easy to follow for me : )Lastly the satin black matt finish on speakers matches the remote and in general this whole set up is impressive; it looks expensive & sounds GREAT for the price!

Appalling item. Not suitable for a TV very small speakers and sound is not very good

I did a bit of research before settling on this as a speaker system for a desktop PC. I'm truly blown away by the quality of it for the money. There is simply no comparison between this setup and the kind of thing you get from Creative or Logitech for the same money. The build quality on this system is excellent - there is actual wood and metal involved rather than just plastic! the important thing of course is sound quality, which is just outstanding at this price. Loads of detail, really crisp mid range, and the sub is really pretty refined. It even holds up pretty well at full volume, although starts to show it's limitations a bit. It's so good though that I'm comparing it to a 'proper' hifi setup costing 10 times more. The remote volume control is excellent too. If you're looking for a desktop speaker system, or perhaps something for a TV in a smallish room, and you don't intend to go above 'normal' listening volume, I really can't recommend this highly enough. It is excellent!

Una delle qualità si questo sistema è sicuramente la versatilità con cui si adatta alle varie esigenze acustiche,collegato ad un PC le sue qualità di base si adattano perfettamente alle esigenze dell'utente o che lo si setta con i parametri ambientali di Window o con la configurazione Relatek si percepiscono perfettamente le varie sfumature tonali e ambientati.Non ci sono altoparlanti finti,le casse frontali vibrano perfettamente in contrapposizione ad un subwoofer che regolato a dovere inizia da bassi profondi e termina nelle frequenze medie,le casse frontali fanno il resto.Casse frontali che occupano pochissimo spazio e per giunta si possono appendere a 90" dal supporto,meglio non si può desiderare.Il mio sistema è senza Bluetoot,ma ecco la genialata,se dovessi avere l'esigenza di averne uno basta sostituirlo con l'adattatore di comando che tra parentesi ha di suo un ingresso jack da 3,5 ,uno Phone.Supporta una tutta la serie di collegamenti indipendenti dalla fonte principale.A distanza di tempo dall'acquisto e per l'uso che si fa forse è per certi aspetti poco sfruttato, a tutto volume non solo se ne avverte la potenza ma comincia a vibrare un po tutto e devo riconoscere che la distorsione del suono con meraviglia è accettabile.Per chi ama la qualità questo è un prodotto che garantisce prezzo,materiali , suono e adattabilità per tutte le esigenze in un'ambiente come quello casalingo.Soldi ben spesi,

Voici bientôt 4 ans que j'utilise quotidiennement ce kit d'enceintes sur mon ordi et je dois dire que j'en suis totalement satisfait ; le rendu sonore est parfait, les composants de bonne qualité et en ce qui concerne le look, l'ensemble est du plus bel effet. En 4 ans, le son est toujours aussi bon et je n'ai aucun souci à déplorer si ce n'est la télécommande qui m'a lâchement abandonné un matin en me rappelant au son pourri par défaut de l'ordi. Elle m'a immédiatement été remplacée (gratuitement) par la bienveillance du service après-vente de Wavemaster hyper efficace (immense merci à Nabil de GF Direct :). Je conseille donc fortement cet ensemble (qui se décline depuis en version bluetooth), vous ne serez pas déçu, c'est une certitude, et même agréablement impressionné par la qualité du son produit par ces enceintes.

Suenan bien y el tamaño es ajustado.

Ich habe die Boxen heute erhalten, und natürlich gleich angeschlossen. Und ich muss sagen ich bin begeistert. Ein super Klang mit klaren Höhen, einer ausgewogenen Mitte und einem kräftigen, unaufdriglichem Bass. Für HiFi Genuss am Computer ein wirklich tolles System das mich schwer begeistert. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung für jeden der am Computer beim Arbeiten oder Spielen Musik in guter Qualität nicht vermissen möchte. Und der qualitative Eindruck ist ebenso gut. Alles ist gut verarbeitet und macht eine "Wertigen" Eindruck. Der Lautstärkeregler erinnert an die Zeiten der guten alten Verstärker - mit Reglern aus gefrästem Aluminium, leichtgängig und "irgendwie edel". Aber auch die anderen Komponenten stehen dem in nichts nach. Für mich ein erstaunlich gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Übrigends: Die Kabellängen sind für PC-Anwndungen reichlich gut bemessen. Also: Sechs Sterne vom mir!Jetzt (Februar 2016) muss ich von den "sechs" Sternen leider einiges abziehen. Bei Klang- und Verarbeitungs- Qualität bleibt alles beim alten - Super. Allerdings ist nach gut zwei Jahren der Verstärker, wahrscheinlich das Netzteil, kaputt gegangen. Da ich von dem System begeistert war, und die Garantiezeit ja gerade um war, habe ich mir das System ein weiteres mal gekauft. Das war vor 11 Monaten. Heute ist auch bei meinem neuen Wavemaster der Verstärker ausgefallen, und zwar mit den selben Symtomen. Die Power-LED geht nicht mehr an, also vermutlich wieder das Netzteil defekt. Eine Sicherung ist leider nicht vorhanden, auch nicht wenn man innen nachschaut. Wie ich mittlerweile gelesen habe, bin ich nicht der einzige, bei dem dieser Fehler auftritt. Schade, das Soundsystem ist sonst eigentlich spitze. Mal sehen ob der Kundenservice ebenfalls gut ist.

Le prestazioni sono quelle che ci si aspetta da un prodotto di fascia base. Più che adeguate per uso personale collegato al PC.
