Love the eVac!!!
I ordered a full lineup of Sea to Summit dry bags to see what would work best for my needs. This lineup included Ultra-Sil, lightweight, heavy duty, and big river bags with varying capabilities such as basic dry bags to eVac and compression bags. The sizes ranged from 8 Liters to 35 Liters, and the waterhead ranged from 2,000mm to 10,000mm.My conclusion was that ALL of the bags consisted of great quality. Before I get into the ***This Bag*** review section, here is an easy reference to help you match your needs to a bag. The middle of the road bags really met a great compromise on everything.Weight: If the weight of the bag, and the space the material of the bag takes up is your biggest concern, the Ultra-Sil bags are for you. In the sizes I ordered, it weighs as little as .135 ounces per liter (without eVac or compression). In comparison one of the heavy duty bags I ordered (with eVac and compression) came in at .98 ounces per liter. With the exception of that bag everything else was under .5 ounces per liter.Extreme Waterproofing: Any bag except the Ultra-Sil bag has a 10,000mm waterhead. The Ultra-Sil bag has a waterhead of 2,000mm.Durability/Ruggedness: The Big River and Heavy Duty bags were made from solid materials and it is apparent they will be able to handle more abuse than the other bags. These will probably be your picks for watersports. The bags step down in durability in accordance to their overall comparative weight.Material Space: The material space of the Ultra-Sil bag is almost nil. As you go up in durability and features, the material space will also go up. I don’t have an actual metric for this, but my pictures should be a good illustration of how some of the larger liter bags can actually take up less space than a smaller liter bag depending on the material used.Overall Space: eVac and compression technology. The eVac tech will allow you to push out dead air space, while the compression tech will continue to compress your puffy items. This is perfect for sleeping bags.Load Limit: The Heavy Duty and River bags can hold up to 220 pounds. This does not seem to vary with liter size, but is based on bag material alone. It is pretty incredible that the bags could handle that amount of weight. I’ll post a disclaimer that I did not test that out. In comparison one of the lightweight bags had a 33 pound limit.***This Bag***Blue 8 LiterI absolutely love the eVac functionality in this bag. I tried to fill the bag with nothing but air, and I couldn’t do it because the air would just seep out when any amount of pressure was applied. My bags always end up with air bubbles in the past. This 100% resolves that issue. The blue is a beautiful color on these. The color should stand out so it’s not lost on the ground. There was not a weight limit listed on this bag.The bag is very lightweight, but not as much as the Ultra-Sil product line. It still comes in at .5 ounces per liter for the 8 liter bag.The bag feels quite a bit more durable than the Ultra-Sil line, but not as durable as the heavy duty bags. The care instructions are printed on the inside of the bag instead of on a tag that needs to be cut off. I found this to be really nice because I’m not left with bits of tag hanging on, and I don’t have to worry about losing the instructions.I was hoping to fit a tall down sleeping bag in this. Unfortunately I would have needed at least the 13 liter bag. I was able to stuff the sleeping bag in it, but did not have any room left over to seal the bag.Even so I think this is my favorite bag in the Sea to Summit lineup because it includes eVac, compression, and has a great balance between durability and weight. The only thing I have to say negative about this bag is the top came in with a v-shape bent into it due to the way it is boxed up. This was not uncommon across the bags, but was not found on all of the bags.

Well-made waterproof compression stuff sack but very expensive
I got this dry bag to protect my down sleeping bag from rain on backpacking trips. It works well for the purpose. The 13 liter size is a bit small for my winter bag, but it’s the perfect size for my summer down bag. I was able to squeeze in my winter bag on a backpacking trip this past weekend, but could roll the closure only two rolls, then I had to load the bag vertically instead of horizontally, making it less space-efficient in my backpack. Not a fault of the dry bag; I needed to get the 20 liter size instead.Would I spring for the asking price of a 20 liter bag? No, I don’t think it’s worth the high price, and that is the reason for one star off. It’s a great product but not worth the asking price.

Lightweight and High Quality
I recently had the opportunity to try out a remarkable compression dry bag, and I must say, it truly exceeded my expectations. Unlike your typical dry bag, this one stands out in a unique way. It is impressively lightweight and surprisingly soft to the touch. The material used reminds me of tent fabric, but it has an even softer feel to it.One of the standout features of this dry bag is its exceptional ability to keep your down sleeping bag or jacket completely dry, even in wet conditions. This is particularly beneficial for backpacking adventures where unpredictable weather can pose a challenge. I found it to be a reliable and effective solution for protecting my gear from moisture. The innovative technology incorporated into this compression dry bag is truly noteworthy. The ease with which it compresses the contents inside is a game-changer. It allows me to pack my belongings efficiently and save valuable space in my backpack. The compression feature ensures that my gear remains secure and organized while reducing overall bulk.In terms of usability, this dry bag proves to be highly practical. Its lightweight nature makes it a breeze to carry, and the soft material adds a level of comfort during transport. Additionally, the sturdy construction instills confidence in its durability, reassuring me that it can withstand the demands of outdoor adventures.Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the performance and quality of this compression dry bag. Its unique design, lightweight feel, and soft material make it an excellent choice for keeping essential items dry in wet conditions. If you're a backpacking enthusiast looking to upgrade your gear, I highly recommend considering this product for its great tech and reliable functionality.

Great for organizing camp gear
I got this for my sons to use on their annual Boy Scout camping trips. This helps them keep their bins organized and their stuff they need to keep dry like sleeping bag, pillow, and clothing, separated and dry. A 35 L can hold a lot. This also works well for my son’s ski trips and he packs a huge duffel. He can stuff all of his fluffy gear in here to be able to fit the rest of his stuff in the duffel. The compression in this is great.
