10.8 Yard should be 9.87552 Metres.Received 10.500 Metres so very happy with that as an extra 625mm is more than generous, may not always get so much extra with each order but anything over the specified length is a bonus.Feels nicely solid when closed, zips slide nicely (of course always lubricate new zip anyway with polish, wax, or whatever you prefer & they'll glide very smoothly).Also has a generous amount of tape to either side for sewing into projects with no loose threads.Very easy to fit sliders by cutting the side tape (fabric) a 1/4inch down either side of coils as close as possible & trimming off those 2 x 1/4inch pieces, seal any loose thread with a flame, separate coils at end & simply push through slider.If you need a double ended opener you would then simply bring the 1st slider back down to unzip to the very end (being careful not to pull slider completely off), then pull it up again to close the coils.Now insert closed coils into rear of slider No2 & a darning needle or some such item to prise the coils slightly open on the inside of either side of slider No2 to help feed them through.Keep pushing & wriggling slightly until the coils are finally worked through. You'll need to prise the coils 2 or 3 times as you're working them into the slider & you'll probably hear a quiet click as it moves through a little each time. It sounds fiddly but actually takes less time & effort to do than typing out these instructions.Remember to allow a little extra length when cutting your zip to size as you'll snip of the 1/4 inch end were you fitted your sliders.Came on a useful plastic reel although it needed to be half as big again to hold all of the zip, but still keeps it much neater than loose & very handy to have. Don't know if all orders are supplied on a reel or if this was the end of a run & that's why there was so much extra, but be a very good value supply if this is the norm & will certainly return for more when needed.

My wife bought this for sewing packing cubes. It was on a plastic role but was very creased, she had to iron the zips. Bright orange colour. Good quality sliders and zip. Satisfied.
