As an IT professional who implements security camera solutions, I continue to remain a big fan of Amcrest. As usual, this camera does not disappoint. It's clear from reading some other reviews that the users were not familiar with high resolution or wide perspective cameras. This camera requires it be viewed in landscape mode; once you do this all issues mentioned in some other reviews are gone and the image is extraordinary. The audio (both talk and listen) as well as the image are superior to any other self-contained camera available, period. Upon adding to a POE network, the camera quickly initialized, obtained an IP address and was available for viewing both on my NVR and in Chrome browser. This is a professional solution and for those not familiar with professional equipment, I suggest you purchase an Amcrest POE NVR to go with this camera as they are designed to complement each other. The browser interface for this camera is vastly improved over other manufacturers' solutions, and gives you a very elegant, straightforward means to configure the camera. This is not a Ring or Blink camera, it's a sophisticated device for security professionals or home users who understand how to implement them. It can 100% be the correct solution for a home user but it will require more initial work than a plug and play Ring device for example -- the payoff is dramatically higher resolution and useful video and audio.

This is a great camera. The quality is amazing. I love the spot light on the camera at night. It lights up my whole back yard. The camera is a little pricy, but I've had it for a couple of months and it's been great. The AI features work great.

This Amcrest camera is really quite amazing. It's big, high resolution (4K for each camera) and very wide FOV very easily replacing two cameras in a corner. The software is solid and I love that I can integrate it with my existing NVR.

Images are skewed and unrecognizable even close to the camera. The two-lens design of this camera is flawed.

Too big, poor design and average picture quality for the price

It is very sturdy, it has many additional features such as alarm connection and audio for connecting to speakers. The quality is awesome, I like that it has an LED light for each lens, and the advanced AI features.

After testing a Hikvision panoramic camera that had good image quality, I thought buying an Amcrest unit would be an upgrade since it was listed as 16MP and also has a standard junction box mount. Well, let me tell you that the 8K 16MP description is completely incorrect. The max resolution is 4096x1800 which isn't close to 16MP and the image is distorted where the middle is squished. The Hikvision unit is the same resolution but the image isn't distorted and is much clearer. This camera looked promising but the image quality leaves a lot to be desired for a $400 camera.

Very very impressed with this camera. I had a spot that used to have 2 cameras for coverage that this one replaced both and extended the range. It's very well built and the AI features are what you'd expect from Amcrest. The night color is crisp with detail out to almost 200ft. There is one caveat to it, it's a larger than normal bullet camera. Perfect for most commercial applications (mine) but for residential applications plan for esthetics.
