Look Great
They are comfortable to wear, but may be a bit tight for someone with thick wrists (maybe if you can't touch your thumb & middle finger tip around your wrist?).They feel supportive, protective enough and the colours are vivid. I like them so far.

Not for larger wrists. Love the colours. Incompatible with a wrist-borne HRM.
No-one has smaller wrists than me, but even I struggle to get these wristbands on. The upside is, once on me they are not going anywhere, whereas other wristbands can tend to ride up. The downside is, they are not compatible with my Garmin watch's wrist borne HR monitor. However, it would be possible to wear a band on only one wrist. The elasticity is very strong. If you are a largeish man, I fear these bands might cut off your circulation (supposing you could get them on in the first place).I am glad I ordered the pink & blue, rather than my customary black, (though the black and white does look dramatic). The two beautiful colours (IMO nicer than shown in the advert) are gently merged in to each other in a clever and pleasing way. Beforehand, I did slightly resent having to wear the brand's logo, but actually, worn on the inside of my wrist, and with the distraction of the colours and pattern, it is not at all noticeable. The current price of ÂŁ13.99 seems to me a little steep. You do have Free Returns, so if you are tempted you can order first and decide later.

Nice but I’m not sure how they will fit my husband
These are lovely quality sweatbands and I got them as a stocking filler for my husband so he hasn’t tried them on yet but as you can see on the photo I have tiny wrists and they fit me very snuggly! I guess they stretch which is how men get them to fit but I’m not sure how comfortable they will be, especially over his Garmin. I guess we will see.So if you have skinny wrists like me they are perfect, if not I guess you try them and see, free returns if you don’t like the fit!

Beautiful and functional
Nothing less, nothing more, they do the job and look absolutely lovely. I especially adore the colours so was mesmerised with them! They elasticity is good and they absorb the sweat well too.

Mmmm . not great
Don’t stop the sweat reaching my hands at all, so can’t really rate them highly.

Anyone for tennis?
These seem to be marketed by a company specialising in weightlifting and power sports accessories (niche) but looked like a step up from my usual cheapo brand. Aside from bringing bags of dog food in from the car I'm certainly not a weightlifter, and Crossfit? Don't make me laugh. But I do play tennis and (apologies for over-sharing) get incredibly sweaty, so was looking for something a bit more robust than what I'm used to.In functional terms these are definitely a step up from my usual 'throw-away after a couple of games' bands. But, like {hopefully) most other folk nowadays I'm thinking about the environment so throw-away isn't good. And having used these for four or five pretty brutal matches they're still very much holding up to the considerable challenge offered by my sweat glands. The wick action works really well, especially for a tennis-player who can virtually wring out their usual brand at the end of a match, and my palms seem noticeably drier as a result. And again from a tennis perspective the weight and heft of these seem to add a degree of power and accuracy to my strokes, but that might just be placebo effect. So for doing what I want them to do, top marks.Size-wise they were a bit of a tight fit on my rather puny wrists but they are beginning to stretch after a few washes. But if I were an actual weightlifter my forearms would probably be the size of both my thighs strapped together, and as there's only one size available that might present a bit of a challenge to the more muscle-bound among us.My only issue with these sweatbands is the aesthetic. Or in other words, I think they look a bit daft. When I rocked up with these for tennis last week my opponent's only verbal response was "Cyndi Lauper Pop Video circa 1983" which I quote as a pretty much perfect description. His non-verbal reaction was akin to what I might expect had I turned up in a pair of flowery Crocs. The brand Mammal Strength suggests testosterone-fuelled feats of strength and athleticism. Little lion's head motifs on a pink and blue background does not. Curious, but not a deal-breaker. They are good quality, they keep my arms dry, and in my head at least they've won me a few games of tennis. And that's far more important than turning up on court in the sweatband equivalent of socks and sandals.
