quite hard to break down but once it is wet easy and is really good substrate

This product is so easy to use just fill the sink with water and let it all soak in the side of the block looks small but once it has all soaked you get a lot for your money it’s versatile once wet and breaks down easily and it’s so easy to clean . I currently have a snail hospital so it can get messy this helps is to maintain the cleanliness of the environment and it’s definitely great value for money .

Swells up loads

One brick worked perfectly the other would not soak any water up and had to be broken up by hand just to be able to use. That’s the only reason for 4 stars otherwise a great product

This is great value and is just as expected from exo terra, light and airy with no hidden surprises! Tarantulas seem to like it but they can't talk........... so not too sure.
