Steenbergs Organic Vegetable Bouillon - Large Jar - 180g

This is a great tasting product. It's basically made up of dried vegetables and not padded out with yeast, wheat, MSG etc like the mainstream products tend to be. Hence the high price I guess, but it's worth it. I prefer and generally use Steenbergs' no-salt version, but if I'm cooking for guests I use a 50/50 mixture of this bouillon and the no-salt version.

So good to have a stock/bouillon without all the additives! It's more expensive than cheap supermarket stuff admittedly, and if you need to watch your salt intake then use it sparingly, but it tastes great! Will be buying again!

The main ingredient of this product is salt, not many herbs or flavoursome components.

I love it doesn't have maltodextrin added to the ingredients. The stock is really good. If you are worried about the amount of salt, just reduce the amount of salt added to the dish you are preparing.

3 BIG glass jars!! Great value and tastes great too. I've added this to home made soup and also used it as a savoury drink by adding a teaspoon in water and topping with hot water.Good stuff :-)
