I notice some have a hard time removing the tip. Use a pipe wrench. Make sure that the round sides of the tip is securely in the wrench jaws, place the gun on the floor on a piece of cardboard or something to prevent scratches. Hold gun down with your foot and push down on the wrench handle. Should break free easily. Another problem is leaking by the black locking ring. If you tighten the ring too tightly, it will warp and cause leaks. Just unloosen the ring and retighten to just snug. Should stop the leaking.

I bought it to paint a car I am restoring, the weather made it where I couldn't use it till last week. I am not a painter , I am a mechanic, Purchased on January 12 so I am out of the time to send it back. The tip is way over torqued it took two of us to get it off, one to hold the gun on a table and 1 to put his body weight on the wrench and it came loose. My problem was when I sprayed primer it spits as I am spraying, there is a professional painter that comes by the dealership to fix minimal damage and paint, and he took the gun apart cleaned it, sprayed some primer and gave it back to me and told me to go to harbor freight and buy a cheap gun there it would be a lot better than this one. I wish I would have used it in January because I would have sent it back.

Sprays well enough for the price. The biggest issue is it comes with multiple nozzles on the green colored ones, but I can’t change them as the factory installed one is overtorqued and bent the wrench up trying to get it off so it is permanently a 1.4 mm. I ordered blue, which was a hair different, didn’t seem to spray quite as well, but allowed me to change the fluid tip. The disposable cups are quite useful, but you have to be careful to make sure the black locking ring is not cross threaded a little and is fully seated or it will leak

I used to have a graco paint spray gun and I was trying to replace it with this but it isn’t the actually spray machine, it’s pretty much just the nozzle.That said, this ain’t a bad little collection of parts. The sprayer is heavy duty metal, with metal nozzles and toggles. Everything feels like it’s good quality and the abundance of plastic cups and funnels and parts for moving the paint around are really generous.I wish these were a little more clear about the actual machine not coming with- or that they would have more actual machines for sale instead of what I realize now is nearly exclusively sprayer parts.That being said I don’t think this is a very good deal. If it were an actual sprayer it’d be a great deal even though it’s an unknown brand but it’s not, and it’s generic, so you can get a proven and trusted brand’s products for a better price.

Haven't used it yet, but it is comfortable in my hand and seems well built.

Just to update from last review as parts that were missing are not missing, they were in the package I just did not see them so I have upgraded to 4 stars and will update once I spray some paint but so far all looks good.
