I have been meaning to get one of these for years, but historically I found them to be expensive for anything with good ratings.Now I picked up this on a lightning deal (again me and the lightning deals....) based on the excellent reviews.I am relieved to report the positive feedback is well deserved!It takes a little time to understand how to use all the functions but it is worth spending a few minutes doing it.In practice it is utterly brilliant, finding cables and pipes in very thick solid stone walls along with finding the wooden studs in partition walls (as well as electrical and pipework).Put simply, if you do DIY, get this. You may not use it often, but when you do, you will be so relieved to have it!Thanks for reading and I hope you found this useful. :)

Was thinking i might need this, and after reading all the different types of scanners, this evened to a fairly safe bet. All worked right out the box, but agree with others a bit of practice, will help you understand all the beeps and led’s. I have played around testing for several different things, where i know they are, and it found all of them quite accurately. A couple of odd results, near light switches, but it transpires there is metal caping over the cables, and thus partially shielding the AC signal and only showed when placed above the switch, but makes sense s there is capping over the cables.I will at least feel more comfortable before drill plasterboard walls now.

What an amazing device!!! I bought it to lay a room divider on my floor as my house is quite old and I wasn't sure if i'd puncture cabling or pipework. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I did!! If it wasn't for this gadget I think I would have either electricuted myself or punctured some heating pipework. Definitely worth it

The media could not be loaded. As other reviews state, does not reliably detect anything.

This is one of the cheapest tool I bought in years for my work, it really does its job easy to use and read

De varios productos similares adquiridos antes este es el que mejor funciona, se adapta a mis necesidades, incluso logro detectar agua que fluye a través de tubos de PVC.

Funciona perfectamente, detecta objetos metálicos y demás en las paredes. El único pero...que la pila que traía no funcionaba y tuve que comprar una. Lo demás de 10.

Il problema oi dotto funziona, certo, va bene per un uso hobbistico, non certo per un uso professionale, ma per forare un muro a casa propria, da indicazioni abbastanza attendibili, visto il prezzo lo ritengo decisamente valido Direi per quello che mi serve, ottimo acquisto.
