Cocoon GRID-IT - Case & Organizer for iPad from 8" | Organizing System with Zipper | Protective Case for Tablet - Black / 26,6 x 2,7 x 18,8 cm

I originaly bought this to sit in my bag act as a pseudo carrier/case for an iPad pro 10.5 but found out rather quickly that the back plate, while really sturdy, tends to eat up nearly all of the actual carrying space. As a result the case would rarley be able to close when under load as the flap is just too short to enclose the device and peripherals and reach the Velcro at the rear. That's with an iPad a full half an inch smaller than the advertised maximum size so i doubt this would be much use as a full on laptop case.The Velcro is also very weak. 3 small tabs with hardly any teeth to them trying to affix to the case cover material instead of a proper receiving Velcro stripWithout the flap issue though its a very sturdy and decent quality sleeve rather than a case with lots of peripheral carrying capacity thanks to the GridIT system...just good luck getting anything in to it.

I carry around earphones, cables, stylus, tablet and the usual tech equipment. I use it for travelling between my bedroom and the livingroom to reduce carrying a bag for everything. I will use it outside if and when needed. I love the cross crossing of the bands which are very grippy. I used a 10.1 inch tablet with a case and it fit perfectly. Now using a 9.7 inch tablet with a case and still not issue. I love that the flap over secures via velcro pads which allows for a little extra stretch when needed.I use this case everyday and very much recommend it.Hopefully the attached pictures help a little more.

A tech loving girl can never have enough useful cables in her bag and this is the perfect place to store them neatly. I wouldn't call this the most stylish item and it definitely puts me in the 'geek' category, but has solved the problem of having things lying around in the bottom of my bag. How else am I going to store styluses, USB cables, spare rechargeable batteries and audio leads?? My iPad Air 2 in Apple case is a bit of a squeeze to get in but I can travel around happily, secure in the knowledge that my cables aren't going to get knotted up and my iPad has an extra layer of protection.I have found that a few small items can fall out; be sure to wrap the cover over tightly to prevent this.

If you have more stuff that will fit on this, you relay need to take a hard look and figure out how to downsize. This holds all my essential gear, my tablet, inhalers, glasses, power pack, headphones, wallet and pens. It can take a bit of organisation to figure out where to put everything in, but once it's done, it's held very securely.The only drawback is the lack of a pouch to hold little trickles like rings and things would really help. I've actually brought a small pouch separately and strapped it in. Would​ have been nice if this was sewn into the product, but it's a minor point as i figured out a workaround.

i received this in the post today and decided to an initial impressions review.prosit keeps everything very organized. the band are all different sizes ideal for all kinds of accessories.the bands keep the items in place as they are made from a gripped rubber materialit looks stylish and clean.consthe inner lining is made of felt and i found that bits of felt got into the sides of my mba 2014 apple logo.it adds a lot of weight and size to the laptop. for a laptop that is so light i would have hoped for something a little lighter with a smaller footprintthis one is more of an improvement that i would suggest, it would be useful to have a zipped pocket on the backoverall it does the job i.e. keeping everything organized and looking tidy but it adds a lot of weight and size to the macbook air and i was not happy about the felt bits.

I saw this on the apple website store. and it costs so much on there. so i looked on amazon and found it slightly more reasonably priced. everyone who sees my case comments on how unique it is!the bands are rubberised (and have grips), making it safe to store things securely, which i love!the elastic is pretty sturdy too, which i was surprised about!and the material itself is great. worth every penny! and a great conversation starter!

Hassle free delivery as usual from Amazon. I was unable to find them anywhere cheaper than amazon. I bought this for my iPad 2 which is in a Griffin Survivor Case. One thing you may overlook is the case your iPad my be in, I certainly did. With this particular case it's a rather snug fit, but not impossible, so do bear this in mind. It certainly is a Handy idea for keeping all items associated with your iPad together. I use mine to keep an external battery, leads, screen cleaner and speakers together. another little improvement for the company is that when items are placed in the elastic straps it causes, the cover when closed to bulge, this could be compensated with an elasticated front or longer front.

I like the simplicity in the design and it seems so do a lot of people. My only gripe is the fold over flap is too short when you bulk the contents up. An iPad, cables, adapters, external battery etc and the flap covers but doesn't quite reach the velcro. Maybe I need to reposition item so it does! Maybe give more material or longer strips of velcro.However, the main reason for the purchase is to get a case where the iPad and accessories are all together and that it does very well.

Ich habe dieses Produkt gekauft, nach dem ich immer öfter, darüber gelesen habe.Da ich nach einer Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit, für meinen Kindle (Paperwhite) gesucht habe, war die 7" Variante Perfekt für meine Zwecke.Der Kindle passt genau in die Tasche und die Lasche die man über den "Grid" klappt, schützt auch die darin befindlichen Sachen.Die Innenseite der Tasche, ist sehr weich und somit ideal für Tabletts, oder andere Kratz empfindlichen Geräte.Gerade beim Reisen, ist dieses Produkt, ein echter Lebensretter.Kabel, Stifte, Taschenmesser und alles andere, was man so mit hat, sind perfekt organisiert und liegen nicht einfach so, in irgendwelchen Fächern im Rucksack.Das einzige, was ich bemängeln könnte, ist das die Lasche etwas spannt, wenn man dickere Sachen, in den Grid packt.Von mir, gibt es trotzdem 5 Sterne, da ich guten Gewissens, eine klare Kauf Empfehlung dafür abgeben kann.

One is protected by company policy and has the emails and stuff and the other is my personal phone. There is even room to put my wallet. There is a smaller one which i Bhejo is not selling which perhaps can also be used to carry a phone as well.

Idea ottima, ma la sagoma dello sleeve è rigida ed aumenta di almeno un centimetro e mezzo le dimensioni del macbook air che posseggo, con il risultato di non riuscire ad essere inserita all'interno di tracolle o zaini che abbiano tasche per i 13''.I materiali sono di buona qualità, ma ho notato che il velcro dopo circa 4 o 5 mesi di utilizzo, ha iniziato a cedere e risente abbastanza delle sollecitazioni quando è nello zaino. Tutto sommato non mi lamento, trovo utile poter portare con me tutti gli accessori ancorati alla griglia, ma dovessi tornare indietro, comprerei solo il pannello con le molle e opterei per uno sleeve differente.

Avendo appena preso un macbook 13, necessitavo di una custodia, però oltre al pc, avevo un sacco di cose che girano su e giù nello zaino in maniera disordinata. Con questa soluzione ho in uno stesso contenitore: mac, mouse, alimentatore, cavo iphone, alimentatore iphone, cuffie, hd esterno, chiavette usb etc etc. Insomma, ti facilita la memoria nel ritrovare tutto quello che ti serve che riguarda il pc o gli accessori, ottimo!Unico neo, i materiali, non sono pessimi, ma nemmeno eccellenti.Gli elastici devo dire sono fatti bene, hanno la giusta tensione, hanno tutti i gommini che impediscono la fuoriuscita delle cose inserite, ma la copertura e le cuciture diciamo che potevano sprecarsi un po' di più.Io inserisco il mio grid-it nello zaino ogni giorno per l'università e per dire, la scritta cocoon è già saltata (mezza) via! A me dell'adesivo della marca staccato non frega niente, però potevano fare meglio diciamo.

Leider halten die Klettverschlüsse nicht besonders gut, ansonsten ist die Idee herausragend. Mit den Klettverschlüssen lasse ich mir was einfallen, denn nur dafür geht's nicht zurück ;)Nachtrag: Ich lasse jetzt von einer Bekannten die Klettverschlüsse durch Industrieklettverschlüsse ersetzen - die kann gut nähen und kriegt das sicher hin. In meinem Grid-It habe ich: Zwei Power Banks (Zusatzakkus), einen LTE-Router, div. Kabel, ein USB-Mehrfachnetzteil und natürlich das iPad. Beim iPad muss man bedenken, dass es nicht einfach ist, den hinten reinzuschieben, ohne dass das SmartCover sich so verschiebt, dass das Gerät eingeschaltet ist. Das braucht ein wenig Übung.

I liked my Cocoon so much when I bought it last year that I wanted to order one as a gift for a friend recently. The price jump of 25 per cent over the past year made it prohibitive so it went from being a good product in my mind to one that's over-priced for what you get.A year ago I would have given it a 5-star rating, but can't do that now in light of the steep price hike. It has lost its value for money.

Die Idee ist nicht umbedingt verkehrt, jedoch ist die Umsetzung einfach schlecht.Das Mittelteil ist etwas größer als ein 15" MBP, somit verliert man die Mobilität eines 13" Geräts.Die Verarbeitung (siehe Bilder) weißt grobe Mängel und fehlende Liebe zum Detail auf.Die Verwendung von Neopren ist konzeptionell falsch. Das Material ist nicht dehnbar genug, gleichzeitig weißt es eine geringe Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen spitze Gegenstände auf.Bei einem Preis von ≈50€ erwarte ich mehr.

Parecchio grande ... per intenderci come un occhio 15”. Dipende da quanti cavi bisogna mettere e lo spazio disponibile in borsa/zaino. Molto molto comodo per avere tutto in ordine e sotto mano

un poco mas grande (ancho y largo) de lo que esperaba, pero esta genial, tengo todos mis accesorios conmigo, cables , cargadores etc. genial. no volví a perder ni a tener un cable fuera de lugar.

Excelente producto para poder llevar mi iPad y todos sus accesorios en un solo empaque :D ya llevo tiempo con el, usándolo diario y no he tenido ningún problema.En el compartimento para el iPad, puedo llevar mi iPad sin funda con una Smart Cover y un teclado Bluetooth sin problemas teniendo la parte del "grid" totalmente llena.

muy buena, buen acabado, la compre para una surface pro 3, entró perfecto, y puedo llevar todas mis cosas en un mismo estuche,buena para usarla sola (pero solo es una capa de protección de neopreno) o ponerlo dentro de de una back pack (esta la mejor opción).

Lo uso per il Surface pro 3 e non per macbook.La dimensione in pollici è simile, il mio è più sottile e mi consente di usarlo con la cover.Quindi ottimo per il Surface pro 3.La gestione degli elastici è ottimale e il tessuto mi sembra molto resistente.unica pecca:ci aggiungerò una bretella per il trasporto a spalla, la farò cucire a qualche sarta...Ottimo acquisto.Consigliato per tablet di grosse dimensioni, Macbook o Surface e per chi ha molti tools.

Bonita, con buen acabado pero al poner los cables básico de una Mac no cierra del todo bien. Los velcros con los que se cierra la funda son muy pequeños.
