50L Original Stainless Brushed Satin Steel Autobin.

The autobin works marvelously right out of the box. The lid is easy to operate. The batteries are very easy to insert, (unlike my old sensor bin purchased off a shopping channel, which gave a lot of trouble to slide back the lid to the battery compartment). It was a joy and pleasure to have it working as it should and setup very easy. I know that should be as expected especially given the price, however my experience of buying an auto sensor bin off of ebay left me practically weeping, as the lid never worked and was wonky, and when they replaced the lid, it still didn't work, I was left with postage to pay on both occassions and the hastle of returning the product on both occassions, so now I don't take anything for granted. This company to deal with is very very professional, polite, and courteous, and this is not just lip-service (as with many other companies) but is actually backed up by a very good product and after-sales service. I was able to exchange my original purchase of the 50L bin with the 60L bin. The delivery was very prompt. The design of the product (yes I know its just a bin) is intelligent. The lid opens quickly, will stay open, and WILL REMAIN OPEN if your hand is directly over the sensor, so no need to rush emptying your plate out; the lid closes quickly once your hand is not in front of the sensor. It also has manual operation. The staff help is also intelligent. The only reason I am spending my time typing this review is because I know shopping for a bin and having to navigate the companies out there selling bins can be daunting and it is very important for people to have feed back about other peoples' buying experience. When I read the reviews on this product there were only eight reviews, but all the reviews were very positive, and I took the view that if some products don't have a lot of reviews, then a lot of people must be happy with their purchase because people will only take the time to write a review if they have had a bad experience. It is early days yet, so if the product should develop a fault I will update this review, however it is backed up by a 10 year warranty.

I got two of these in Nov 2018, one for normal rubbish and the other for recycling. The bins are the right size for a busy kitchen (family of 5) and need emptying once a week or so. I paid more for these because the long warranty gave me reassurance that the product would last. It operated well and lids are quiet in operation, I have replaced the batteries once a year in, which isn't too costly. However when the batteries ran out the second time, one of the lids stopped working automatically and none of the reset instructions I tried worked.When I wrote to the seller, I was told not to worry and that the product was under warranty. However, I have been told the cost of shipment is £25 which in my view is excessive. If this was more reasonable then I could understand but feels like they are trying to cover some of their costs !It is a pity that a premium priced product such as this is undermined by the long term quality, made worse by the drawback of the cost of claiming on the warranty. For this reason I cannot recommend this product.

Looks great , lid only made of thin plastic, not great quality.

Works very well and the new model bins have a much better sensor so they do not trigger the bin lid when you walk past. Actual bin design means that the bin bag comes out easily without catching on a rim like a different make owned before. Had an issue with the bin after delivery but this was rectified immediately by the seller which was fantastic customer service. Very happy so far.

Great bin – admittedly, we bought it because the main body of the unit is made of stainless steel of the only dimensions that would fit into a small corner space in our kitchen. What luck - not only does the bin look stylish, but the lid, which opens by a wave of the hand, was a bonus and a revelation! Batteries that work were included, and were straightforward to insert. Then, you just pass your hand over the red light in the lid (though not so close as to impede the lid's clearance), and the lid opens and stays open long enough for disposal; it and the floor beneath it stay clean. Despite its slim proportions, this bin holds a lot of waste, and the closed lid does a great job of containing garbage odours. The bag fixing ring keeps the top of the bag hidden from view. Very very pleased with this item, and would highly recommend it.

Bin purchased June 2013. Original review was 5 stars; I was delighted. Edited my review November 2013 because the bin has died. No motor fault, as far as we can tell. Bin kept clean and dry, so no short. However, it refuses to respond to the sensor even after changing the batteries. Gutted. Over £80 down the drain. Not going to pester for a refund, though I should do. Too upset to bother.

Ordered 23rd July, arrived 26th July. Very pleased with that because 8-10 working days was quoted. The item itself was very well packed, and the brushed steel shiny & clean. It takes 3 batteries, not 4 as stated, but they're provided so no need to go out shopping before the bin can be used. Once switched on, I've found it very responsive to a hand to open, less so for closing - but I've discovered that it'll close by itself if you forget, so that'll do for me. Nice large capacity, and an effective seal at the top. All in all, a well made item, and the 10-year guarantee is very satisfactory.

Works ok. We’ve already had to have the kid replaced. What is disappointing is that They provide such a good warranty but charge you such a high courier cost to get anything replaced. Couriers do not cost that much these day’s.
