We use a unique oven-roasting method to condition our raw bamboo wood. By keeping the component parts of the bamboo wood heated for different lengths of time we can not only increase the strength and durability of our product but we can also produce the distinctive and beautiful duel tone honey colors. All of our products are environmentally friendly for many reasons one of which is because they are made from a very high quality and sustainable variety of Bamboo called 'Phyllostachys' Bamboo. There are over 1200 species of bamboo; however, we choose to use 'Phyllostachys' bamboo wood to make a wooden spoon for its strength, density and versatility.
