Don't get stumped when choosing stumps!
I'd never heard of stumps (aka stomps) until I started to learn how to draw a couple of years ago. They're one of the inexpensive products Mark Kistler recommends in his excellent book, 'You Can Draw in 30 Days.' They are so useful when it comes to 'blending' the shaded areas of your drawings.These particular stumps (from The Art Shop, Skipton) are very nice to use, and are a steal at the price. Highly recommended.

Ok but the ends have bent and become difficult to use. Not for a professional level but definitely useful for sketching.

Good product for drawing
I need paper stumps for blending while drawing with graphite and coloured pencil. These arrived quickly, are very good value and work fine. I did not want to pay for sandpaper blocks, erasers etc. as included by many retailers. I have these already.
