Reactive Dog Owners!
This is absolutely perfect for Reactive Dog Owners like myself for dogs who are more triggered by sights. We live on a main street so it does also provide privacy as well. I opted for the Pure over the white because I still wanted to get light in and it does. It's not see through at all. I had tried the rainbow-y one from this brand as well, super cute but it's too transparent to help the dogs. Perfect for an interior window I have though! This film is very easy to cut with a box cutter when cutting to the size of the window. It's thinner than other clings I've used before so it clings to the window so much easier! It's very flexible and easy to use if you don't have perfect windows.Last picture, window on the left has the Pure on the bottom and the rainbow style on the top of the window.

It's Like a Giant Frosted Phone Screen Protector for your Window :D
I recently moved into a first floor apartment in a house with a large decorative oval window set in the front door, which looks out onto the porch/street. My bedroom door opens right into the front entryway, and I don't like to keep it closed, so needless to say, this created some privacy issues. This "frosted" window film easily and immediately solved the problem. It was super easy to install - even on this recessed oval window. Have you ever put a phone screen protector on your cell phone? If so, you will have no issue installing this, as the process is basically the same.Installation process: Make sure that you thoroughly clean the window first. (Very important!) Rubbing alcohol is prefect for this, as it will evaporate quickly without leaving a residue. (Dirt and residue will affect adhesion of the film to the glass.) Cut the film into the approximate shape, then remove the film backing. Using a water bottle, spray BOTH the window, and the back of the film, (sticky part,) with water. Place the film, squeegee the water bubbles out, (I used a credit card,) trim to fit, and squeegee again. If the corners start to lift after trimming, it's because the water is drying, and you shifted/lifted the film away. To fix, lift the edges that aren't sticking anymore very slightly, and spray a little more water under them again. Once wet, the film will re-ahdere to the window. The water lets you move the film around so that you can easily adjust the placement, and squeegeeing the water out adheres the film to the glass. It's an easy and forgiving process, as long as you are patient and follow the instructions. When finished, DO NOT touch/move it for about 24 hours, so it can dry and set.Great product - 100% worth the $7. Perfect solution for a rental property - as it is removable and non-permanent. (FYI: The small spots on the window in the picture, and the uneven edges around the frame, are from a pre-existing old sloppy paint job - NOT from any defects in the product. Also, pictures were taken at night, but the film does let soft, filtered light through.)

Great for privacy, can't see in or out even at night!
I purchased the Matte White window film about 6 months ago, and it exceeds my expectations! It was quick and easy to install (23/f) and I did 5 windows top to bottom measuring 1 yard by 1 yard in about an hour. This took 2 rolls. My bedroom has 5 windows, and I have neighbors directly behind me so privacy was a concern. I also have a dog and 2 cats who's life mission is to destroy blinds, and this solved that issue!I have experienced no bubbles or peeling/falling down, and I chalk those reviews up to USER ERROR. I guarantee that if it falls off your window, you either did not clean your window, or DIDNT REMOVE THE CLEAR PLASTIC BACKING!!! My only qualm with this film is that it diffuses light in a way that makes my south facing windows very bright. It is like it "glows". This would be less of an issue if your windows face other directions, or if your windows don't oppose your TV.**In my photos, the texture you see is just shadows of frost and ice on the storm window. It normally appears smooth and flawless, with no bubbles or wrinkles.Install:- Clean glass thoroughly! Use a razor blade to scrape off any old residues- Cut a sheet roughly to size (you will trim it once it is applied to the glass)- PEEL THE BACKING OFF OF THE FILM! It is very thin, it's easier to peel if you stick a piece of tape to it and pull. Remember, this is a static cling film. Be mindful of dust/pet hair once the back is off!- Spray the window liberally with WINDEX (tip I picked up from another reviewer. Much easier than soapy water! If you need to reposition, peel back and spray again- Apply from top to bottom, smoothing with your arm to avoid any large wrinkles- Take a credit card, and smooth the entire window with the edge. This will remove ALL of the bubbles and most of the Windex. This is the most important step for a great result- Use a razor blade and carefully trim away the excess as close as possible to the trim. It will look smoothest if you use a single fluid cut per edge. You're done!Pros:- Easy install for one person- Excellent coverage for privacy. You cannot see in OR out, regardless of lights or time of day. Suitable for bathrooms and bedrooms!- Thick, well made material- Stays put with no peeling/falling down- Easy to remove, leaves no residue or damage. Great for renters!Cons:- It doesn't cut down on light! (This can be a positive or negative depending on your reason for buying it) It makes it so there are no "rays" of sun, but it diffuses light in a way where the room may seem even brighter. Not great if the windows are near/opposing a TV.

Blacks out baby nursery
I bought this to replace those portable blackout shades with suction cups. I had them on my baby’s nursery window, with blinds on top and black out curtains over that and they still let so much light in. So this week I replaced it with the black film and it is pitch black in my nursery! I couldn’t find the crib to lay my baby down last night! It was super easy to put up. I wasn’t taking any chances with it coming down during a nap or something, so I did reinforce some of the corners and edges with painters tape.

Easy to install and look great!
We got this to stop our dog from barking out the window all the time but turns out it's great for so many other reasons! It looks fantastic, even our neighbours are asking where they can get it. It also let's sun in while still providing privacy. Overall, it was pretty easy to install, probably took us (two people) about 45 minutes, including the measuring and cutting to size.Highly recommend!

Don’t waste your money
I purchased two different sizes of the tints so you’d expect the chances of the same flaws experienced to be nill. Wrong!! Firstly the tints don’t come in secure packaging so they are able to get squashed and crushed in the mail. Secondly, all tints were scratched and marked which is only apparent once you’ve already made your cut to size for your project. When squeegeeing the film onto the glass (and yes doing it correctly), even delicately, the tint marks. The tint is easily removable as it doesn’t have an adhesive which is good should you ever want to remove it, but the problem is then the film doesn’t stick well to the glass, leaving many bubbles (regardless what you do) visible and the film on the sides never fully settle to the glass. Once you’ve completed applying the film, you then notice the awful haze and fog which never disappears. Lastly, this is meant to be a privacy film, but you can still see clearly through the film during the day like the other glass without film. Avoid!!
