Great flavour and value for money
The flavour of this garlic and ginger paste is very good and as similar to the homemade version as a commercial product can be expected to be. It's great for South Asian cooking which is what i mainly use it for. As the jar is so large I divided the contents into smaller quantities and froze most of them.

Excellent and lasts forever
I have just finished the jar I bought exactly one year ago. It keeps fantastically well in the fridge — even for a whole year, evidently! It’s a very useful ingredient in soups and base gravies to make curries.

Convenient form of garlic and ginger,. but purists would say that it doesn’t match the real thing!
Unfortunately, it has lots of ginger ‘strings”, which don’t dissolve on cooking and so leave your dish looking as though it has strands of human hair in it. Very off-putting!
