I found the fit guide to be pretty useful and, turns out, accurate. I am 6' 2" and 270lbs and all around a thicker guy so I got the 2XL Tall which is usually the size I prefer in t-shirts and hoodies. It fits a bit tight around the chest, as in I have limited movement in lifting my arms above my chest. Also the sleeves are a little long and not tight enough around the wrists (A medium glove fits tightly on me). When riding the wind will open the cuffs slightly and let a bit of wind in. That being said, the coat is so well made and good looking that it's worth those shortcomings. It looks just as good in person as it does in the pictures. I love how it feels and it fits so well everywhere else that I just feel good wearing it. It is easily my favorite coat now and I look forward to wearing it. I plan to do something about tightening the wrist cuffs somehow as that is my only real complaint. The tight chest area seems to be breaking in a bit after more use. Once everything is returned Etc I will be trying for the next highest size they sell which is a six XL Plus. While the arms were tight I still give this a five-star because it was an incredibly nice jacket, and if I can't find one that fits in my size I think I'm going to be heartbroken! I have jeweled over this jacket for months and months, in part because of the price. I can say as long as it fits this is worth that price Plus!
