I have searched for the right Bible now for a couple years. Either the translation wasn't the one I wanted, the font was too small, or there wasn't enough room for notes. This one checked all the boxes. I like the Amplified version as it gives more definition to some of the words and phrases. It really helps with the understanding. the font is just the right size, and it leaves a wide column on each page for notes. I am a prolific notetaker and haven't run out of room yet. I would certainly recommend this as a study Bible, especially for someone new to the faith that needs additional background.

I so love that there is now an Amplified version of the Bible and it's a JOURNALING BIBLE!!! Once I saw it, I couldn't wait to get it into my hands!

Seven books of this Bible are missing! It is a lovely Bible, so it was extremely disappointing to see that the last seven books were missing completely. And worse yet, I spent a couple of hours attaching tabs to it. Amazon graciously refunded the price of the Bible but the tabs are a loss. I really liked this Bible but now I am reluctant to purchase another one.
