Lovely pen which writes very well and is very comfortable. Very reasonable price . Highly recommended.

Some 30 years ago I had a Paper Mate pen, a chrome one with two hearts on it, they are now classified as classics but I loved it, the feel in my hand, the smoothness of the ink flow, it really was a pen worth having. A few years back I tried a couple of different Parker pens, they felt good in the hand but they didn't flow like the Pape Mate.I decided it was time to treat myself to a new pen, everyone will have their own opinion on when a pen becomes too expensive, for me I couldn't justify spending more than £15.00 on one. Having tried three different Parker Pens which were good but just not quite right I decided to give Sheaffer a try, I am not a Ferrari fan, I just liked the look of this pen and previous review were favourable.On initial arrival I feared that most of my budget had gone into the presentation case, I am not one for keeping boxes and cases but I really haven't been able to throw this one away, it is beautful. On removing the pen from the box I thought the weight was just right, not too heavy but enough weight there to say this was a pen that wasn't out of a pound shop.From the moment I first wrote with it I was exceptionally pleased, it was so smooth and the ink flowed beautifully, the balance too, it was perfect for me and the nearest I have got to my old Paper Mate pen. You don't have to be a ferrari fan to appreciate this pen, it is a great value for money pen that just happens to have under stated (not in your face) Ferrari writing and logo on it.If giving as a gift the packaging will immediately tell the recipient that the contents inside are worth owning. A great pen that will appeal to both those looking for a quality pen for every day use and Ferrari fans alike.

This is an Xmas gift.it appears good and writes smooth,I have more expensive and to be honest I can’t see any difference

Excellent quality

Bought as a ‘new job’ gift for my son, he loved it! The red presentation box is very luxurious and the pen is classically simple in design with embellishments the same. We’ve yet to see how it performs, but with a one year guarantee, the outlook is positive 😉

It's got a nice weight to it, makes my handwriting more controlled, doesn't speed up my writing though and I think it's a bit pricey when perhaps a quality £5 pen from another pen shop could give me the same results

Me gusta escribir y he tenido todo tipo de bolis y de marcas buenas. A este le pongo al nivel de mont blanc, va como la seda.

The writing is a standard Sheaffer ballpoint, you can trust it to work amazingly but it wont lead to stylish handwriting or beautiful shades and accents... color is consistent and thickness too. On the outside, a nice tribute to Ferrari and the cavallino rampante on top is discreet enough to keep all the elegance but clear enough to remind you of the Ferrari tradition
